The recall effort against two Democrat lawmakers who championed tougher gun laws in Colorado succeeded, the Associated Press reported early this morning. Senate President John Morse, along with Sen. Angela Giron were turned out by voters angered over their support for citizen disarmament measures so extreme that manufacturers are leaving the state and a sporting sequester boycott has been proposed.
While Morse has dismissed the recall as purely symbolic, those who ousted him would argue otherwise. He occupies of the most powerful offices in the state, and his defeat not only showed the power of grassroots gun rights activists when they get motivated, but sent a warning to politicians that will be noted far beyond the Centennial State. It also demonstrated that mere money sent in by anti-gun patrons like New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg and California philanthropist Eli Broad is not enough to compete against committed and organized civil rights advocates.
The outcome of the recalls will influence the future of the debate over gun control legislation in Colorado and in other states, The Washington Post acknowledged in an August GovBeat report. If two pro-gun control state legislators lose after backing the new laws, other gun control advocates may hesitate before they pursue their own measures.

The MSM is downplaying the 6-1 spending advantage of the anti-Second Amendment forces.
It destroys their myth that the power of the NRA is financial.

Some Americans are just getting pissed at the communists control that is destroying our rights. Maybe this might wake this sleeping giant and start kicking butt.
Power of the Constitution, as well.

With particular emphasis on “outing” the RINOs! They are the real enemies of the people!

Victory springs from imparting excruciating political pain in unrelenting repetitive attacks on a single politician as an example to others...
That's predicated on the assumption representatives of the Democratic [sic] party are smart enough to learn from others' mistakes. I have to wonder how reasonable an assumption that is, since representatives of that party keep abusing the raw power of government to express their hatred of both the Second Amendment and all us ordinary folk who believe it means exactly what it says.
That said, probably better stupid enemies than intelligent, eh?

Proud of my state today.
There are 54 happy Colorado sherrifs today too.
We can protect our freedom from the bottom up, and here is the proof.
Up the butt, Bloomberg, and thanks for spending money in colorful Colorado!

Does this say anything about potential grass-roots support for an Article V convention for the purpose of proposing amendments to the United States Constitution?
