BTW. NONE of my ancestors where in the country prior to the late 1880’s. They where fleeing the oppression of the British I Ireland and the Kaiser in Germany. They had been starved, beaten and taken advantage of since the days of the Roman Empire and decided that a clean break and an ocean voyage was better than a continued existence under the boot of their oppressors.

Here’s a thought, rather than pay reparations, let’s pay these *ssholes a one-way fare back to Africa, a place they’ve never even seen and from which NO ONE stole them.

Although neither I nor any of my family was a slaveholder — and neither you nor any of *your* family were slaves — I feel we owe you transportation back to where you fit in.
Reparations were paid in the form of lives and blood from 1861 to 1865. Half a million white boys died slaughtering each other over whether Blacks should be free or not.

Are you also demanding money from the decedents of the Arab slavers that probably brought your ancestors over to the country you now run? And the decedents of the local West African leaders who probably traded your ancestors to them for booze? No? Just the British?

I'm OK with this, with the following condition: We need to know how much is enough, and when it ends.
We've paid between seven and ten trillion US dollars either directly to descendants of slaves or to facilitate their education, employment, and rehabilitation since 1965. This commitment was made, foolishly, as an open ended one, so that we're not better off (in fact, we're much worse off) than we were in 1965.
We need an end to reparations, not a beginning.
So, this beggar can start by defining what is owed, by whom, and when it gets paid off.
Oh, and, by the way, if the people who owe it are "all whites", under a blood or collective guilt theory, I'm OK with that, too - as long as all blacks are OK with accepting collective guilt for crimes and depredations committed by black individuals, living and dead.
