THIS IS A REAL QUESTION: Is there now any reason to carry health insurance if you're healthy?

Each of my middle-aged children could be socking away approx. $12,000 a year if they could stop paying health insurance premiums and just sign up for ObamaCare if they fall ill.

Jay Carney told reporters that the White House still doesn’t know the number of enrollees in the Obamacare marketplace exchanges after going live almost a week ago, and that they shouldn’t expect the information for about a month.

“When it comes to enrollment data — I want to be clear about this — we will release data on regular monthly intervals,” Carney said, which is the frequency in which Massachusetts and Medicare Part D release information. “This is an aggregation process, and we’re not going to release data on an hourly, daily, or weekly basis.”

When pressed by reporters about how the administration could know the number of online visitors to the websites but not the number of those who have enrolled, Carney said the administration used the former to explain why the Healthcare.gov’s many glitches in the wake of last week’s rollout.

They could get these answers and the answers to ALL of the questions in all of the scandals swirling around obunghole... and boner has the power... it is called a SELECT COMMITTEE. That is why none of the questions will ever be answered.

There's something troublesome about that particular question of numbers, and I suspect it's not because they are embarrassingly low. It's because they have no way of knowing. I suspect these clowns spent billions of dollars for an out-date, off-the-shelf program that cannot provide statistical data. They simply threw money at the project, and walked away. A single source, no-bid contract for a turnkey project. No list of deliverables, no contract schedules, no periodic reviews. They have no idea how many have enrolled, and are now frantically engaged in attempting to mine the data.

Republicans were also voicing concern Tuesday about Americans being kicked off their current health plans, and newly uncovered documents that show the administration anticipated millions might lose their current coverage and be sent into different plans -- despite pledges to the contrary from the White House...I worked in a psychiatric hospital for twenty-five years - I'm used to talking with people who have their own version of reality, who are just not susceptible to reason or discussion, in short, psychotics - listening to Ms Tavenner "testify" really took me back - step by step relating of what's happening to those losing their insurance coverage every day now was met with a flat denial and a firm statement that no one was unable to keep what coverage they had if they wanted it - attempts to get a yes or no answer were met with an answer to a redefinition of the original question, and an attempt to go back and get a yes or no again would get a yes answer to the question as she redefined it - too cute by more than half - maybe some Thorazine or whatever they're using now would do her some good......
