Possible voter fraud cases sent to DA (Gun Grabber Morse's Recall Election)

El Paso County Clerk and Recorder Wayne Williams has forwarded 18 cases of potential voter fraud from the September recall election of Sen. John Morse to the district attorney for investigation.

The cases are a variety of possible fraudulent votes perpetrated by Democrats, Republicans and unaffiliated voters during the successful recall of Morse from his Senate District 11 seat.

Some of the cases were caught when signatures on absentee or mail-in ballots didn't match those on file, clerk's office spokesman Ryan Parsell said.

The office attempted to contact those voters for confirmation they had voted, he said, and when that failed, the cases were forwarded for further investigation by the District Attorney's Office.

Parsell said they are not releasing the names of those under investigation, and Lee Richards, community outreach director for the District Attorney's Office, also declined to comment.

At least 11 of the cases, Parsell said, involved incidents in which people registered to vote on election day without living in Senate District 11.

After a person registers to vote, the clerk's office sends an unforwardable letter to the address provided. If that letter bounces back, the clerk's office follows up, and if not resolved, the clerk forwards the incident for investigation.

The cases likely do not include the widely publicized investigation into Jon Caldara, who voted in the recall election despite having been a longtime Boulder resident.

The Attorney General's Office said that case is under investigation but declined to comment further.

Wouldn’t any reasonable person conclude that voter ID is an obvious remedy here?

I thought the Holder DOJ had already approved voter fraud and said that it was even expected during our new “fundamentally transformed”, banana republic style elections! What’s up with this?!

IMO, except for members of the Military or someone who is hospitalized or in long term assisted living, on-line voting and absentee or mail-in ballots should be eliminated. True the Vote has some excellent recommendations which should be followed even when voting in person and most of them are not. For instance, instead of asking whether the person still lives at such and such an address, they should ask the person for their current address.

A strong voter ID law would be. The Colorado Dems crammed through same day registration and voting law after they found out that the recall elections would be or were about to be reality. Former state Senator Morse being a strong proponent for the flawed law.

Whoa. Stop. Hold on.
“Jon Caldara, who voted in the recall election despite having been a longtime Boulder resident.”
Little misleading there Megan. Caldara “voted” a blank ballot and the only reason he did that was to show how flawed the new Democrat passed register and vote at the same time “Same day registration” law is.

Just so long as it doesn’t affect the outcome! BTW, does anyone from CO have anything to share regarding the next recall?

Just about everywhere you go you're asked for a photo ID — such as your driver's license — EXCEPT to vote. Oh, yeah, the Donkeys are really concerned about the rights of minorities here: 1) dead voters, 2) provisional voters, 3) illegal aliens, 4) multi-voters, 5) other frauds.

A simple solution: no photo ID at the polls and you cannot vote. It IS that simple because the Donkeys can't cheat as easily.
