One of the early topics of the CWII ping list was the book "Civil War II" by Tom Chittum.

The author, based in part on his experience in both Yugoslavia and Zimbabwe, was convinced that multicultural societies are very prone to civil wars, and regardless of how wars start, they tend to quickly break down along the most obvious racial, ethnic or religious dividing lines (depending on the region). His book included a checklist of items that would indicate the fractures were getting worse.

I don't think the knock-out game was on that, but his predictions are looking more and more precocious all the time.

Let them knock out game themselves to pieces. Eventually one or many of them will be shot or knifed by a bystander who is armed.

Studies I’ve read say a prime dividing line is language. Lack of communication creates barriers and suspicion. Many genocides are based on language. Another reason to require citizens to be able to speak English.

As for the knockout game, when law-abiding citizens can’t count on the cops to protect them, they will find their own means. I don’t think too many will just let it go and “move on.” There are many who will seek justice and if it’s not available via police or in the courts, they will find another way.

Question: If the police don’t protect us and the courts don’t administer justice, then what is their purpose? And why are we paying for them? I’m not interested in paying taxes in order to fund a police force that only serves to raise further revenue via traffic stops and to compile mounds of paperwork documenting crimes while doing nothing to solve them.
