I went to a concert once, not realizing what I was in for. It was some female black singer that the lesbos adore. I still don't recall how exactly I ended up there (I think someone I knew had and extra ticket and said, "hey, come on!"), but it was a memorable experience (I was one of about 10 guys in the whole audience).

Kind of like the time we saw "Personal Best" in the local artsy theater, again not realizing its appeal to a certain demographic - probably because we didn't know the plot up front.
