South Carolina legislators are looking to eliminate Obamacare in their state under State House bill H 3101, the Daily Caller reported on Monday.

The bill is titled the “South Carolina Freedom of Health Care Protection Act,” and was passed the state House of Representatives last April by a 65-34 vote.

The Daily Caller reported that the bill now heads to the South Carolina State Senate that is controlled by Republicans, is setting up the likelihood that South Carolina will become the first state to exempt citizens and businesses from all participation in the Affordable Care Act.

Even a few of the more populous states doing this would be enough to rip the guts out of the ACA system.

Interesting historical comparison with South Carolina being the start.

With so few of the "youth" demographic signing up and so many of the enrollees being shifted to medicad (90%)I think that has already happened, and now we are just waiting for it to bleed out.

Tyrants in Black Robes will have something to say about this. No question why Dingy Harry pulled the nuclear option and is setting up votes for Marxist Judges for the Appellant.

Interestingly, we're probably getting to the point where Dingy Harry and judges in black robes are less relevant in these matters than ever.

If you look at this move by the South Carolina legislature as a way to make the state more attractive for a manufacturing giant like Boeing, for example, you get a very different perspective.

You may not know this, but FedEx pretty much single-handedly destroyed the Federal "card check" unionization law that was one of the key priorities of the Obama administration back in 2009-10 when the Democrats controlled both houses of Congress. In that case it was a good thing, but I believe we passed the point long ago where major corporations like this have more influence in government than even our Senators and judges.

Won’t be long and the odumbo crowd will pass a law against all states rights. Nothing would surprise me that comes from that den of thieves.

It all initially started in South Carolina. It may as well all start again in South Carolina. For the moment, soft revolution. Later on, who knows.

The whole thing will be soft and swift. To many, it will be over before they knew it started. Those will be the ones who will suffer their own willing disbelief. Sucks to be them, already, especially those with a public history like the MSM.
