What’s wrong with DC? Bush spent the actual holidays in DC so that his Secret Service people and other staffers could spend Christmas with their families, and then he went to his ranch in Texas for a few days afterwards.
Bambi could go “back” to Chicago, a place he lived only for convenience but which is technically his place of residence and where he does own a politically-purchased mansion, after spending Christmas in DC...right?
