Pretty simple, Sparky. Russia does not condone homosexuality. Islam doesn't either, though I'd agree they take that too far. Lets focus on Russia, which is what you seem to do, with your 'East Europe' qualification. Their wartime and citizen-repression body-count has NOTHING to do with their policy of not condoning homosexuality, yet you want to conflate the two to try to make it seem like he is endorsing both. You state that he is saying they are 'desirable people'. He's not saying that AT ALL. He's saying their non-condoning policy towards homosexuality IS desirable. You, instead, put up a straw man, then you knock it down.
