For some reason, the charges were later downgraded to assaults without a hate motive, according to court papers. The DA got a call from Eric Holder who explained how hate crimes only work one way.

The reason that 5 were Jewish is because he lived nearby. The 2 others were Asian and Hispanic, IIRC. In other words, anybody who wasn’t black.
I’d love to see some black minister come out and tell the grannies to tell their “grans” to stop attacking anybody who wasn’t black. But that’s never going to happen.
