Six New Jersey residents have filed a federal lawsuit against Governor Chris Christie, the state of New Jersey, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and others over traffic jams in September that made them 'late for work.'

The suit filed in federal court Thursday appears to be the first civil claim over traffic jams that appear to have been caused as political punishment for the Fort Lee mayor. The plaintiffs want it certified as a class action.

Panic attack? Better not try to sign up for "ObamaCare". (I'm trying to get Pelosi into having her own panic attack)

I'm shocked they found a lawyer to take this case.

The first defendant's response to the lawsuit will be: (1) a statement that the plaintiffs don't have legal standing to file the suit because they can't demonstrate any harm, and (2) a demand for the plaintiffs to document the financial losses they allegedly suffered.

Good luck with that. It will cost more in legal fees than these people can ever hope to recover in court.

Late to work? Panic attack? Gimme a bleepin' break. The family of the old woman who is said to have died because of the traffic *might* have a case....but panic attack? Nauseating!

I was stuck on Storrow Drive (a major Boston road that's notorious for traffic) recently and missed the first half of the Patriots game.Do I get to sue Osama Obama's life long pal,and fellow "community organizer,Governor Deval "Coupe Deval" Patrick?

And yet the article at that link includes quotes from that elderly woman’s family members in which they say any “delays” in the ambulance arrival had nothing to do with her death. Go figure.

Included in all the articles I read, and seemingly ignored by most, was that the woman went into cardiac arrest AFTER she arrived at the hospital.

Seemingly no one in the country has standing to challenge Obamacare but this guy can sue Christie because he was late to work?

For what it’s worth ... I’d also point out that Bridget Kelly, Christie’s chief of staff who was fired this week, has a long career as a political staffer — including stints with Rudy Giuliani and John McCain.
