Six New Jersey residents have filed a federal lawsuit against Governor Chris Christie, the state of New Jersey, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and others over traffic jams in September that made them 'late for work.'
The suit filed in federal court Thursday appears to be the first civil claim over traffic jams that appear to have been caused as political punishment for the Fort Lee mayor. The plaintiffs want it certified as a class action.

The first defendant's response to the lawsuit will be: (1) a statement that the plaintiffs don't have legal standing to file the suit because they can't demonstrate any harm, and (2) a demand for the plaintiffs to document the financial losses they allegedly suffered.
Good luck with that. It will cost more in legal fees than these people can ever hope to recover in court.

They are trying to “Palin” Christie. Plus it keeps it in the news.

Brian Williams will spend the first 10 minutes of his show on this development.
And Obama appoints a federal prosecutor to investigate.
and who isn’t saying “What About Benghazi and F&F”?
Let him. Mark Levin was on it for almost his first full hour last night.
Wouldn’t be surprised.
Seemingly no one in the country has standing to challenge Obamacare but this guy can sue Christie because he was late to work?
For what it’s worth ... I’d also point out that Bridget Kelly, Christie’s chief of staff who was fired this week, has a long career as a political staffer — including stints with Rudy Giuliani and John McCain.
