I’d give him the benefit of the doubt if it wasn’t for his relationship with his other daughter.

Although, it could be the Mia Farrow knew that Allen would be susceptible to such an accusation precisely because of that relationship. Also, he’s been married to her now for many years.

Such visions are common in NDEs. Heaven or hell or both, and they are promises and warnings. It’s in keeping with the philosophy of Hebrews which IMHO is referring to microcosms of chastisement before one’s actual final exit from life. The Lord will call a saved believer short if he begins to act like hell, by showing him what hell is like. (Also in keeping with Paul’s “delivered to Satan for destruction of flesh so that soul may be saved in the day of Christ Jesus.”) If it was a NDE it was not a final exit. God isn’t caught uncoordinated here. It’s all folded into a coherent plan. Some say predestination, and perhaps a better term would be “out-destination.” Our reality is already of eternal scope, and time is but the stage on which it plays out visibly in the mortal coil. Again we lack the terminology to describe this with any accuracy and the attempt to do so in mortal terms only results in the locking of Calvinist and Arminian horns.

Thanks.......I give all in this situation the benefit of the doubt. Simply because of my experiences that I spoke of in post #35 on this thread.

I cannot judge either party in this fiasco, however I certainly know the wrath of a woman scorned.

“He did take one...and passed. Mia failed her’s.

Owned.”

wrong. He took one his own legal team hired which wasn’t worth the paper it was reported on. Mia never took one.

Stolen

READ the article.

He makes PERFECT sense. The timelines, Mia Farrow’s OWN history, etc...

I got divorced by a wench capable of nearly the same thing - trying to turn my kids against me as ‘punishment’.(for what?)

READ the article, guys.

Interesting article. Unfortunately, once a charge like this is made, a person may never get back their reputation.

Sometimes a person's known behavior makes it impossible to defend them when they get accused of something they really didn't do.

Like Michael Jackson. For all of the accusations, he still got off legally.

But just how freakin' WEIRD it is for a 40 year old man to have slumber parties with young boys?

However, the 30 million dollar payoff to that one family is damning.

Maybe he was "innocent" in 99% of the cases.

But by the point of his trial, NOBODY believed him.

Woods, you were carrying on sexual relationships with your girlfriend and her adopted daughter at the same time. Are you really so obtuse that you don’t get why people (a) might think that was odd enough in itself and (b) might hear allegations that you’d had boundary problems with the other kids, and not dismiss them out of hand? And um, yeah, Sinatra was a lot older than Mia Farrow...but he wasn’t her freaking stepdad.

The 30 page report of the judge in the case from June, 1993 is devastating to Woody Allen.

Facts are stubborn things.

This clown should never have been around children.

And no. Mia is not some nutcase, trying to skewer Allen.

Even the judge found she acted responsibly in the situation.

And Allen was completely shut down in his bid to gain custody of Dylan, Moses and Satchel.

There are witnesses and testimony in court to Mr. Allen’s long term inappropriate behavior toward Dylan, other than Mia’s.It was difficiult to read of Allen’s almost complete disregard, long term, to the other children in the household. That is, except for Soon-Yi. The report covers that as well.

The last half of the report is devastating to Allen. To read it, and then to read his current self-serving dribble, is jaw-dropping.

For what? Cheating on his girlfriend?

As far as I am concerned, his relationship with Soon Yi is effectively incest.

Huh? It was not his adopted daughter - he barely knew her as a kid. Should she be in jail too? She was an adult when they became involved.
