2010: Admiral: President Obama Gave Us Choice to Accept Gays in Military or Resign
Breitbart's Big Peace ^ | April 1, 2014 | AWR Hawkins

Coast Guard Commandant Adm. Robert Papp said that in 2010 Obama told U.S. military leaders to accept his push for gays in the military, and that if they didn't, they could take the "opportunity to resign [their] commissions."

Papp said these things in a video BuzzFeed obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request.

The video shows a speech Papp delivered to Coast Guard Academy cadets during which he was asked how he would deal with enforcing an order with which he didn't agree. He used the story of his 2010 meeting with Obama as an example of how service members' duties can be compelling and conflicting with personal desires....

Barry is a fag.

The way he acts with Putin and the Saudi king, I think he's a catcher.

A telling point here is that this was quiet for so long. Everyone is protecting their coveted job, even if it means going RED.

I thought of the same thing. The real story is why weren’t there massive resignations?

Don’t forget the added bonus of getting to use the casting cot to decide who gets promoted....

Romney is allegedly a closeted queer, and the accusation is he has a thing for Hispanic men.

My God! They all wanted to protect their jobs and pensions. The creature had accurately judged his underlings response. If all had resigned he would be out of office today.

So you would rise to the top of your profession over a 30+ year career and burn it to the ground b/c of one dickhead boss giving an order you don’t like?

Sure.

Soon. Probably a year. Certainly before he leaves office.

And we will have threads with some freepers insisting on excuses for the brass then too.

He already told the chaplins to accept gays or GTFO, now Gen/Admirals. Soon will be accept illegals in rank and file, then the officer corps. Why not? He has supporters here so he can infiltrate FR with defenders, the general public will go happily along.

The Dhimmis will also find a way to rationalize non muzlim soldiers tried for blasphemy under the UCMJ as well, I’m sure. Because they already compromised morality and ethics so willingly with the gays precedence has been established.

Depending on the order, in a freaking heartbeat. Material goods are replaceable. Always. Integrity isn’t. Ever.

Yep. One would not like it but one would do it. Any other attitude explains why we are going down the drain. You are telling us more about yourself than others.

Don’t you know Barry Bathhouse knows a lot more about homosexuals and their place in the military than even the father of cur country George Washington knew.

http://www.wallbuilders.com/LIBissuesArticles.asp?id=101

While the issue of homosexuals in the military has only recently become a point of great public controversy, it is not a new issue; it derives its roots from the time of the military’s inception. George Washington, the nation’s first Commander-in-Chief, held a strong opinion on this subject and gave a clear statement of his views on it in his general orders for March 14, 1778:

At a General Court Martial whereof Colo. Tupper was President (10th March 1778), Lieutt. Enslin of Colo. Malcom’s Regiment [was] tried for attempting to commit sodomy, with John Monhort a soldier; Secondly, For Perjury in swearing to false accounts, [he was] found guilty of the charges exhibited against him, being breaches of 5th. Article 18th. Section of the Articles of War and [we] do sentence him to be dismiss’d [from] the service with infamy. His Excellency the Commander in Chief approves the sentence and with abhorrence and detestation of such infamous crimes orders Lieutt. Enslin to be drummed out of camp tomorrow morning by all the drummers and fifers in the Army never to return; The drummers and fifers [are] to attend on the Grand Parade at Guard mounting for that Purpose. 1

General Washington held a clear understanding of the rules for order and discipline, and as the original Commander-in-Chief, he was the first not only to forbid, but even to punish, homosexuals in the military.

I’ll play your game.

So, the entire JCS resigns in protest over Obama’s desire for homosexuals to serve openly. Then what?

I taught my daughter from day one. Material things come and go. Some things, those that define you, can never be replaced. It has served her very well to date.

I was never in the military due to medical issues but I have left VERY good jobs over ethical issues and taken severe financial hits over it (two occasions). One took years to recover from. I do not regret it for a second. Life would have been far better to have just gone with the flow. “Better” being a relative thing. I’d have had more toys but hated myself.

I chose wisely.

Those senior leaders are the surrender monkeys. They’re indistinguishable from the “pro-gay” officers that would replace them. I think you imply that if they stick around, they can “slow roll” implementation. That obviously didn’t happen. All those homosexual rapes prove it.

Some may have chosen to stay and try and keep the ship righted not realizing it was a losing battle.
