Takalkar cites another recent study that found breast cancer linked to higher number of abortions and the use of the oral contraceptive pill.

FYI, Ping!

I bet this story will never be published and the researchers will be shunned.

This has actually been known facts for years - it will not change planned parenthood one bit.

Not the first we’ve heard of this. Other studies have been done and arrived at a similar conclusion. So why are the Kommen folks in bed with Planned Parenthood?

The instruments that God created for a woman to feed and nurture her new born is the very thing that will kill her for ripping her child out of the womb. Poetic justice.

Its a story we’ve been told about before and there are living examples of some sort of connection like Linda Ellerbee, the MSM journalist who had both things happen in her life, plus alcoholism.

The former First Lady, Betty Ford, is an alcoholic and had breast cancer back in the 1970’s. She was militantly “Pro-Choice” and I don’t know if that was based on any personal experience of hers.

I don’t want to get harsh, judgemental or in anybody’s face, but I see examples of abortion being part of some bad things going on in people’s lives.

Nope. Cannot happen. Just like AIDS is not caused by gay sex. Just isn’t. Or like racism is caused by geriatric NBA owners. That just is.

So why are the Kommen folks in bed with Planned Parenthood?

"According to Komen's IRS Form 990 declarations, CEO Nancy Brinker now makes $684,000 a year, a 64 percent raise. Komen claims the last CEO salary hike took place in November 2010."

Studies have indicated this for some time. And the proposed mechanism ks very reasonable.

A woman who pled guilty to falsifying 1,300 mammogram reports at a Georgia hospital received a surprisingly light sentence in a plea deal.

After hiding positive mammogram results to avoid doing extra paperwork, radiological technologist Rachael Rapraeger received only six months in a detention center, 10 years of probation and a $12,500 fine, according to Fox News.

The number is almost as high for women that have had miscarraiges as well.

Get the test, and if you are not sure get a second opinion.

This phenomenon, and its likely physiological cause, were being fully reported in pro-life circles three decades ago.

During first pregnancy, specifically, mammary gland tissues undergo physiological alterations to prepare them for their milk producing purpose. Abortion interrupts this process, and this has the effect of rendering mammary gland tissues significantly more susceptible to becoming cancerous.

Great. I’ve had 4 miscarriages, albeit early ones, around 7 weeks. I thought studies showed they didn’t increase the risk of BC since they were a natural occurrence and not an abrupt change in hormone levels like abortions.

The number is almost as high for women that have had miscarraiges as well.

What is your evidence for that statement?

I've read the opposite, i.e. that natural miscarriages are not nearly as likely to predispose a woman to breast cancer.

One hypothesis I remember reading, years ago, was that elective abortions cause pre-cancerous cellular changes in the breast, the mechanism being the extremely abrupt withdrawal of pregnancy hormones.

Natural miscarriages, on the other hand, may involve a different, or perhaps more gradual tapering off of hormone levels. Research in this area may be hard to come by, however ... it's so politically incorrect that merely inquiring into the subject could end a researcher's career.

So researchers have seen a connection since 1957. Shows clearly how abortion supporters care nothing at all about actual women (well, we knew that already) but here is more evidence of their cruelty.

Apparently it’s the first pregnancy ending before coming to full term that causes the problems.

There are changes that begin in the breast tissue when a woman gets pregnant that are completed when she delivers at full term. When that process is interrupted, the changes are not brought to completion and that leaves the tissue susceptible to cancer growth.

If a woman has a first pregnancy come to full term, those changes are completed and subsequent interrupted pregnancies do not cause the damage that an interrupted first pregnancy does.

One thing that is VERY protective against breast cancer is breast feeding, the longer the better. That is not very widely publicized for some reason.

You’d think that with all the brouhaha about breast cancer and preventing it, they’d focus on that more. But I guess they don’t like to do or say anything that makes women who bottle fed feel bad about themselves.

You don’t have anything to worry about. In an abortion, the pregnancy is stopped suddenly, just as the breasts are responding to high levels of estrogen and progesterone. In a miscarriage there is a more gradual decrease in hormone levels (it usually begins before the actual miscarriage). Let me compare it to 2 cars going 100 miles an hour; the driver of the first car passes out and, naturally, the car wrecks; the driver of the second car feels sick and slows down, not passing out until the car is stopped or almost, so there’s no wreck or a fender bender at worst.
