Obama’s pal Jeremiah Wright never apologized or quit for all his racists remarks. Obama and Oprah never apologized or quit for sitting there
listening and nodding their heads in agreement
for 20 years. And these were not private conversions either!
What about blacks? Charles Barkley said, "N-gga is part of my vocabulary, and I won't stand for whites telling me what I can say".
Charles defends his right to freedom of speech, but don't let a white person try to have that same freedom.
I was suspended for days at FR and called a racist by one of the admins because I exercised my freedom of speech.
The speech police are every where if you are a white conservative.
“Instead of telling Mitt to STFU, tell the officer that.”
Just because I don’t think the “N” word is an appropriate way to refer to other human beings doesn’t mean I can’t tell Mitt Romney to STFU.
I stand by my suggestion, and hope that Mittens gives it the serious consideration it deserves.
Hey Mitty! You had your chance and blew it. Americans didn’t want you as their president, we don’t need you counseling us on what a great guy Barry Soetoro is. We’ve already got Juan McCain doing that!
This BS from the biggest hate Romney BS on the forum.
Yep.
Romney has zero credibility at this point. A serious candidate could have won that election in 2012.
There is a problem in America when two private conversations, one of Donald Sterling and of this police commissioner are made public costing certain people their livelihoods. And at the very same time, a gay football player takes American children into the privacy of his home via ESPN and proceeds to kiss another man.
This will be a good test for the Republicans for us to see who among them will stand-up for Bob Copeland’s First Amendment Rights and who will side with Obama.
Well...he’s right, but why he felt the need to just way in on this doesn’t make a great deal of sense.
Sounds like you should have been more than just suspended and your arguments are irrelevant. So because Charles Barkley wants to be vulgar that means it is great if other people are vulgar as well? Seriously, that’s your argument? I don’t know what you said in the incident you a are referencing, but freedom of speech is a two way street, as you have apparently forgotten - if you want to say things which are not appropriate, others have the right to use theirs to call you out for it - and this is a private forum.
I think the guy is off his rocker for using the N word. But why is it that the Repubs are the ones jumping to Obama’s defense. Who is this guy? It’s like the media is making this loon out to be a big time GOP Tea Party guy or something. Instead of an 82 yo on a committee in a small NH town.
So typical.
What about that Dem mayoral candidate that made similar remarks a couple weeks back? I did not hear one prominent Democrat make a statement. The story appeared no where in the mainstream media. While this one is trending on Yahoo, Twitter etc. The double standard is quite amazing.
I am biting my tongue to keep from saying what I am thinking about Mitt.
BTW: This is not the “police commissioner” in the sense that some are used to in big cities. This guy is one of a few on a local board (non law enforcement) overseeing the police department (spending, policies etc). It’s called the police commission. The media is acting like this is the town’s acting police chief, with badge, gun etc.
He’s an 82 year old citizen who has the right to say whatever he likes.
One white liberal tweeted:
Oh, I see, that's different. (cough)
Freedom of speech does not need your approval, you have no right to judge "appropriate speech" and therefore is not a two way street.
You have right not to listen, but not censor my ability to express free, even foul, obnoxious, speech.
Jim Robinson and his admins can turn off my ability to post because he owns this forum, you can object, but you can't control my speech.
Free speech doesn't mean speech that people approve, it was intended for offensive speech.
Your understanding of free speech is politically correct speech, and you should examine with care, what you just posted, and see if you haven't crossed the line over to lib's side. If I offended you, I'm not sorry, get over it.
>>How anyone can still think the n word is appropriate for use by ANYONE, left or right, needs to pop out of their cave more often.<<
It’s fun to watch the reactions when you preface it with “dumb, white.” They want to get offended but the stuttering is just good fun to watch.
Funny, I'm certain that I've heard that word more in the past five years than I did in the entire previous forty years.
And It's all Obama's Fault.
I'm just so sick of him.
