Romney rips N.H. official’s ‘vile epithet’
(Calls on town officer to quit) [Mitt Defends Obama]

May 17, 2014 - "Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney
has called on a New Hampshire town official
to resign for calling President Obama a racial epithet.
The Wolfeboro, N.H., police commissioner who has stood
by his comment calling President Obama a racial slur
is facing a growing cascade of calls to step down,
including from the tiny lakeside town’s most famous summer resident
— one-time Obama opponent Mitt Romney.
“The vile epithet used and confirmed by the commissioner has no place in our community ,”
the former Bay State governor, who owns a home in the popular Granite State vacation spot,
said in a statement to the Herald. “ He should apologize and resign.”

Commissioner Bob Copeland, who is white, has thus far refused to resign
— or even apologize — after he admitted calling Obama the N-word in an exchange overheard
by another resident at a restaurant in March.
... “I believe I did use the ‘N’ word in reference to the current occupant of the Whitehouse,”
Copeland said in an email to his fellow members of the three-person police commission ...
“For this, I do not apologize — he meets and exceeds my criteria for such.”

Scott Brown who is running for the GOP New Hampshire Senate nomination,
wrote in an email, “Scott Brown believes Commissioner Copeland’s comments
were reprehensible and he should resign.”

Mitt takes a loud, vocal firm stand --- like he does against Conservatives.

I call on Mitt to STFU. Unfortunately my statement probably won’t get any coverage in the mainstream press.

What the police commissioner said was part of a private conversation and none of my business or concern.

Today Mitt is defending Obama with more vigor than he showed defended himself against Obama’s lies and attacks on him during the 2012 campaign.

Obama wrecks America, that’s ok with Mitt. Never heard him take a vocal stand against that.

Apparently The Mormon Milquetoast has never spoken privately with Bill Clinton. Or a rapper.

However, perhaps Mitt's Mormon Underwear was too tight that day and this fool does not realize the damage he is doing by publicizing the private remarks of the other fool in the story.

Standby for MSM Feeding Frenzy.

With all due respect to my fellow Freepers if you haven’t figured out yet in this day and age of social media, digital cameras, digital recording abilities of smart phones, tablets, etc., that you have to be smarter than this you ARE A MORON.

Whether you are Jameis Winston or this guy.

Instead of telling Mitt to STFU, tell the officer that.

We conservatives have known the rules of this fixed game for a long time, we have to play it a heckuva lot better than liberals do.

Life’s not fair. I believe we conservatives coined that phrase a long time ago.

How anyone can still think the ‘n’ word is appropriate for use by ANYONE, left or right, needs to pop out of their cave more often.

Romney for Obama in 2009

Willard Romney - the Magic RINO:
"I also think it's important for us to nod to our pRes_ _ent when he's right,"
we are pleased with his plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
I also applaud our pRes_ _ent
for standing up to the (evil) auto industry. "

The 82 year old police commissioner should apologize...as soon as Barry Soetero apologizes for having called Tea Party supporters “teabaggers,” an epithet equally as vile. #ShutUpMutt

And of course, we can always depend on the self-righteous Scott Brown to weigh in on the issue.

1) It was a private conversation.

2) It’s just a word, for the love of Pete.

3) Go talk to rappers who use it in every other sentence;
if they listen to you, maybe then my heart will start
bleed. Or not.

The “vile epithet” applied to the Current Occupant is no more than has been applied to him by “persons of color” who have discovered that this neophyte gadfly makes a LOT of promises he never intended to keep, either to advance the social justice agenda, or to improve the daily lives of the folks in the ‘hood. They gave him every opportunity, including providing the margin of victory in TWO successive national elections, and the n****r failed.

And what the heck, no worse than what is muttered at the opposing player on the line on any afternoon of a National Football League game. “Who you callin’ n****r, n****r?”

But I forget, white folk can’t even THINK the word, it is a hate crime.

Sure.

But why not call a spade a spade? Or is that some “dog whistle”, too?

I cannot speak for the rest of the country, but I know in Connecticut the following was hardly unknown as of the mid-80s:

“There are black people and there are ni**ers. The guy who ripped the radio out of my car and smashed my window is a ni**er.”

So, it is now impolite talk, but hardly meant as a slur on the entire race. It is more along the lines of living down to the racial stereotype. I wouldn’t be surprised if the same thought process happens in New Hampshire, which has relatively few black people, but would want a way to distinguish ordinary Americans from thugs.
