Received this email, earlier today....
RUSH LIMBAUGH TO SUPPORT TROOPATHON 7!
Great news everyone! We’ve just received confirmation that the most important radio personality in America, the legendary Rush Limbaugh, will participate in Troopathon 2014!....
......Getting Rush on our show is a monumental boost, and it’s sure to help our troops - so we’ve got to spread the word. Share this e-mail with your friends and spread the news that we’ve got Rush Limbaugh this year, and he wants us all to join together in support of our troops and send a huge shipment of care packages to help them get through the hot summer!...
...Come see Rush Limbaugh live on Troopathon! Make sure you tune in tomorrow at 1pm Pacific / 4pm Eastern and simply watch the stream at
www.troopthon.org
You don’t want to miss this intimate conversation with El Rushbo himself!

It’s MoveAmericaForward’s annual Troopathon to raise money for sending care packages to our troops. I believe it started in 2008 and syncro and I have been to nearly every one.

Okay. I’ll send money. Enjoy!
Does Syncro ever have two feet on the ground? He’s always on a road trip or plane to somewhere. :)

Thank you very much! And I know what you mean about Syncro. He’s flying in from the Mississippi TPX McDaniel Tour for this event and then flying right back out again.

From July 1993 to April 1997, I used to live a few hundred feet beneath the Reagan Library. The entrance to the library comes off Madera Road. Down the hill from Madera is the Wood Ranch apartment complex, then Country Club Drive, then the Wood Ranch Golf Course.
I lived in the Wood Ranch complex for nearly four years when I was working at Blue Cross in Woodland Hills.
The library was a wonderful place to visit at sunset when the sun came down near the piece of the Berlin Wall on the railing looking west to the ocean. It was a wonderful view.
When I visited the library in 2007, Reagan was buried very close to that spot.

I used to live a few hundred feet beneath the Reagan Library. It must have been very dark. How did you keep the ground water from rushing in?

It was on a large hill. Ground water wasn't a consideration.
But that saved me during the Northridge earthquake of January 1994. The liquefaction zone ran by the bottom of the hill through the golf course, and the clubhouse took a pretty good hit.
I was above that on granite, and I took a shaking, but not much else in the way of damage.

Syncro and I will be there reporting live. We can expect a nice thread and some pix then.
Obamanomics mustn't affect our live thread quality.
