The Balfour Declaration: the Legal Right to a Jewish State

The government of Great Britain issued the Balfour Declaration 95 years ago. The document in effect served as the birth certificate for a Jewish national home. British Foreign Secretary Arthur Balfour's declaration was in the form of a letter to a leader of the British Jewish community. It stated:

His Majesty's government view with favour the establishment in Palestine of a national home for the Jewish people, and will use their best endeavours to facilitate the achievement of this object, it being clearly understood that nothing shall be done which may prejudice the civil and religious rights of existing non-Jewish communities in Palestine, or the rights and political status enjoyed by Jews in any other country.

The British Army had just captured Be’er Sheva after months of trying to break through the Ottoman army’s Gaza-Be’er Sheva defense line. The British goal was to push north and capture Jerusalem by Christmas.

The Balfour Declaration is one of the things mentioned in Israel's Declaration of Independence (on May 14, 1948), along with the Palestine Mandate from the League of Nations and the 1947 United Nations Partition ... all of which they cite as their legal right to the land that they cite for independence. Israel pretty much (with some variation) stayed close to the 1947 United Nations Partition Plan (again, with some variations) and then finally settled on some cease-fire lines in 1949. It was later that Israel finally settled on "borders" (not "cease-fire lines") with Egypt and Jordan, with the peace treaties that Israel signed with those neighbors.

AND NOW Israel is currently cooperating with Egypt to crush Hamas (as Egypt wants that, too) and Israel is also willing and anxious to give aid to Jordan to prevent ISIS (or now IS) from taking over there.

The key items for Israel in establishing its right "in law" are The Balfour Declaration, the Palestine Mandate, and then what Israel fought very hard it attain in the United Nations - the 1947 United Nations Partition Plan! Again, all of these are mentioned in the document for Independence as supporting their "legal case".

The Balfour Declaration and the Mandate were incorporated into UN policy as were many resolutions passed by the League of Nations. Jews living in Judea and Samaria is UN policy. Don't tell them.

If people want a Biblical perspective on the conflict, they only have to seek out their Bible and read the story about Abraham and Sarah. The Amplified Bible is very concise about the whole issue of Ismael and Isaac.

Sarah’s handmaiden, Haggar, gave birth to Abraham’s child, Ismael. Jewish Law clearly states that the “first born” inherits everything upon the death of the father. But, Jewish Law does not recognize children born out of wedlock (as far as inheritance issues are concerned), it is clear that Isaac, Sarah’s child by Abraham, was clearly a child of their marriage covenant. Because of that covenant, it was Isaac who was deemed the true and lawful inheritor of all Abraham’s possessions (including the land God had given to him).

So, in conclusion, this battle between Israel and the Arabic nations is nothing more than two half-brothers fighting over who is entitled to inherit the land that was given to Abraham by God.

Nothing worse than family feuds.

Since this is a “family” matter, there is NOBODY on the face of this earth who can NEGOTIATE with either of these peoples. Let them work it out for themselves.

Actually, if you want a Biblical perspective, it’s the Messiah of Israel who settles it, by killing all the Muslims in the world, and then setting up his new “one-world government” ... which is a theocracy and not a democracy, and the entire world is just ONE RELIGION from that point forward.

Until then, there will be no settlement that will “finally” solve this problem. What “solves it” is the killing of all the Muslims in the world. Mind you, “we” are not to be killing all the Muslims in the world (exception is “Muslim terrorists” which we should kill every last one of them). But it’s the Messiah of Israel who kills ALL MUSLIMS.

What Israel does for the time being (before the Messiah of a Israel comes back to earth) is basically make political and military moves to protect its safety and security.

Anyone who has not accepted Jesus as the Messiah of Israel is killed. The ONLY people who go into the Kingdom are those who accept Jesus as the Messiah of Israel and the Son of God.

And Jesus is not accepted as either the Messiah of Israel and the Son of God (as they say that Allah has no son, and their “Jesus” [of the Koran] joins with Mohammed to kill all Jews ... LOL ... according to their fake book).

SO ... at the Judgment of the nations, all the Muslims are summarily killed!

Sorry to tell you that, if you didn’t know, but Jesus absolutely CLEANS HOUSE on this earth!

That’s one of the underlying FACTS of the “Gospel” message ... the end result of not accepting is eternal damnation in the lake of fire. This has been the message of Jesus from the time he was here before. When he’s here again ... “it happens”.

“That” was the result of the British Government, who basically insisted on it, and the League of Nations agreed. Remember ... Britain was “the power” in the world at the time and they controlled the region.

Therefore, the area was cut down in size, because of the British government, and was thus enshrined in the Palestine Mandate.

One other thing to keep in mind is that the Jewish representatives of the “soon-to-be government” of Israel, wanted the United Nations to PARTITION the Palestine Mandate into two parts, in 1947 ... the Jewish part and then the ARAB part.

AND ... the reason why the Jews wanted that United Nations Partition Plan of 1947, and why they fought so hard to secure that Partition, and why they celebrated when they got that partition at the United Nations ... is that if it remained “one land” (as the Arabs wanted it) ... the Arabs OUTNUMBERED the Jews by 2-to-1. The Arabs wanted it that way so they could OUTVOTE the Jews in the new government. The Jews WANTED the partition, as it followed the “demographic” for a JEWISH POPULATION, so that they would have a national homeland “for the Jews”!

God and the Messiah of Israel are “perfectly righteous” and unlike “man” ... when they kill people and send them off to the LAKE OF FIRE for eternity, it’s perfectly righteous.

Mankind is not assigned this task of determining who is to go into eternal damnation in the lake of fire ... ONLY GOD and HIS SON, the Messiah of Israel, who are PERFECT in their Judgement.

Right now the world runs on man’s laws and government, and Israel currently exists in THAT ENVIRONMENT.

At a future time, the Messiah of Israel will return to earth and set up God’s law over all the earth and will establish this for Israel.

SO ... at the current time, and until the Messiah of Israel returns, it exists in the “world’s system.”
