desired state from a Christianity perspective? yes ...that is what God wants. But man is in a fallen state. So I would state it a bit differently. Our natural state on this earth is sin. Let’s get real here ... Only through the power of God can a single adult designed by God to want and have sex live a chase life which is not natural but supernatural.
Well, you know how difficult it is for women, so in the 1950’s and ‘60’s. Feminists complained that women were regarded as sex objects. Then they decided to reject Christianity and embraced the Hugh Hefner attitude towards sex, and voila!!! Women are reduced to hot dates, one-night-stands, breast enhancement surgeries, abortions on demand, etc..
And the so-called liberal feminists rejoice that women are now all behaving like prostitutes - but the problem is they get no money for it, so they are in poverty.
No more are women sex objects, but reduced to white slavery.
Well yeah, virginity is a natural state. It’s the state everyone is born into, and which we remain in until marriage. That’s the way it is in what I like to call civilization.
Second, when I speak of "natural," I'm speaking of human nature, which is to say, a rational nature. Humans don't lean "natural" from wildlife; at least, not entirely, when applied to ourselves.
Yep, it WAY easier to get STDs, worry about pregnancy, and sneak around. Sure.

We are guided by our instincts, tempered by our upbringing and our values. That said, sex is one of our most base instincts.
And as for you, “miss marmelstein”, there are plenty of girls born WITHOUT a hymen, or it is broken by regular physical activity that has NOTHING to do with sex. You seem to share the attitude voiced by some in the more extremist Muslim countries. Who needs the refresher in Medical 101, hmm?

The natural states of healthy human beings, male or female, are “virgins” or “parents.” When people try to act is if it’s otherwise, things go wrong.Precisely ma'am. What these good folks seem to not realize is I’M ON YOUR SIDE!!!
The church’s teachings are a great guide in helping us to decide when & how to engage in such an intimate realationship. But I’m talking about concepts that pre-date organized religion. I know; some folks think that before the church, God hadn’t created anything, yet. If that’s your thing, okay!
It comes down to PEOPLE!
The most sexual part of your body is NOT between your legs!
It’s between your ears.
And if you can involve the part nestled in your chest, between your lungs... there is NOTHING better.

One really only needs basic biology to reach my conclusion. Human beings are born virgins and remain virgins until they have sex. Once they have sex - if they do it in a natural way - they will quickly become parents, if they are healthy.
So, unable to answer? Why?
