I’m expecting the next crisis rather sooner than later

So what’s really going on? We are in a structural depression that began in 2007 and will continue indefinitely. A lot of people don’t understand the definition of an economic depression. They believe that it means a continuous decline in GDP. Put differently: If two quarters of declining GDP mark a recession than a depression must be a long string of declining GDP. But that’s not the definition. A depression does not mean that you have no growth. You can have growth in a depression, it just means the growth is below trend. But all the policy makers think we’re in a normal expansion an they’re trying to improve the expansion with monetary policy. But the problem is not liquidity. The problem is structural and you cannot resolve a structural problem with a monetary solution. That’s like treating cancer with aspirin.

Let's see 60 million on food stamps. Half the population getting a government check. All the job growth is part time. Terrorists cutting people's heads off on Youtube. The president and Eric Holder are teaching minorities that it is ok to lie, steal, cheat, and commit violence. The borders are in shambles and over run. People are rioting around the country and this is organized and sanctioned by the White House through Al Sharpton. Hundreds of thousands of people have been butchered in the Middle East since Obama kicked off his "Arab Spring." Real estate prices are going down. Cars are being sold with 6 year zero interest loans. Walmart sales going down and much much more. How can we not expect a collapse? It is dead ahead.

“So you’re not convinced that the Fed chief Janet Yellen will succeed in making a smooth transition to a more traditional monetary policy?

Not at all. They will finish the taper in October or November. But what they will find between now and the end of the year is that the data will be very weak. Therefore, by early next year, perhaps march 2015, just when people think they’re going to be rising interest rates, they will actually have to start QE4. So the Fed is trying the same remedies: The money printing goes on and the banking system continues to inflate which is setting us up for an even bigger crisis.”

In other words, they are just trying to get Obammy and the Rats past another election. Then, with this and all of the Obamacare stuff that they have been kicking the can down the road on, it will really hit the fan.

Ironically, even if all the Rats are thrown out and impeachment proceedings begun against the Obama administration, the Republicans will inherit all this.

Add $17+ trillion in debt and we’re in it deep. Before long, the welfare checks will be worthless.

Agree.
It will take a trigger, and not even a big one, to start the avalanche.

The other way the path can be changed is a world war that destroys the system and resets it. America came out the winner of the last time that happened, after WWII. But it’s unlikely it would happen that way again. Also not a good option.

Parallel separation Time. “The Harvest is the end of the age.” Separation of the wheat from the tares.

Structural Theft was put in place by the principalites of the Traducer, in 2008 and the subsequent Extortion-Care theft.
“Thou Shall not Steal.”
“God is not mocked.” .

Demonic evolution brainwashing-carnal and earthly, demonic brainwashing of communism masked as “insurance.”

I was agreeing with his analysis and conclusion, very good analysis. Not that I liked his conclusion.

That depends on how you define “WW 3”. I expect a large ME regional war, and so do the Saudis, who have been arming to the teeth. The Saudis’ biggest problem is probably manpower to fight, tho’ they have been buying a lot of high tech to compensate.

However, the chances such a war would turn into a major US vs. Russia confrontation are remote. Putin can’t even handle Ukraine and Syria, and we could make it a LOT tougher for him without endangering a single US soldier, simply by increasing our support to Ukraine, and fast-tracking energy sales of every type they will take, to Europe. Further, Putin’s ability to project power in the ME on a sustained basis is still very limited: The Italian Navy alone (at least if they don’t mothball half their fleet soon) could put Russia’s Black Sea fleet on the bottom and (mostly) live to tell the tale. As noted above, Russian air power is a poor option as well.

The greater threat is in the long run, as US weakness and lack of will is going to spark an arms race that will likely lead to a “mid-powers” nuclear war (or perhaps a mid-power vs. large power nuclear war) within, by my estimate, 10-50 years. It may well start in the ME, but I give it just as much chance to start somewhere that today seems “surprising” to most people. Essentially, if there is no “cop”, the neighborhood arms up, and in this case, even many of the “good parts” of the neighborhood are not nearly as civilized places as most might think. The bad parts of the neighborhood are REALLY sobering.

Whups, the ‘ol writing skills go downhill late in the evening... That last paragraph should have been:

“The greater threat is in the long run. US weakness and lack of will is going to spark a smaller powers arms race that will likely lead to a “mid-powers” nuclear war, or perhaps a mid-power vs. large power nuclear war (without an opposing large power responding with nukes). The race has already begun. The war will happen within, by my estimate, 10-50 years. It may well start in the ME, but I give it just as much chance to start somewhere that today seems “surprising” to most people.”

I don't know about the "next" one, but the big one--that will destroy us--will be September 2015.

Seven years after 2008 market crash.

Which itself was seven years after 9/11.

Oh, China could definitely be involved!

...perhaps a mid-power vs. large power nuclear war

and I just added for clarification:

(without an opposing large power responding with nukes).

A China scenario is very scary for the US, even without the US becoming heavily involved in the fighting. Not only might the world economy collapse in a fashion to make 2008 look "insignificant", a lot of radiation could drift our way.*

*Even today, in most bodies of water in the US not contaminated by a local source, most of the mercury in our fish is coming from... China. (EPA won't come out publicly and say that directly, but the data to deduce this is right on their website.)

Nice goal, but essentially irrelevant in terms of whether the world economy will collapse. When (not if) it does, we’ll be lucky to have 25% U1, and real incomes that decline by a similar figure..

“Before long, the welfare checks will be worthless.”.....

Perhaps, but the “gimedats” will still have their EDP cards.

(By the way, how does one get one of those cards?)
