I used to watch the TV Show “Cops”.
Every time they caught people, many of a certain demographic group committing a Crime, the offender would say something to the effect “I didn’t do nothing”.
Like they say, deny, deny, deny, even if your Pants are wrapped around your Ankles.
Sohhhh....why wasn’t he charged?

Going under the assumption that these two kids were(are) dumber than a box of rocks, I can see where at the original scene the ‘witness’ spout off all kinds of trash...as people in the wrong are liable to do.
“HE shot my boy in the back! Tiny had his hands up and this MF shot him”....
I can imagine it got pretty lonely for that ‘lone White Cop in a sea of hostile faces’.
Then when this story got legs and it was getting out of control the kid was probably advised that with the tape and all, he could very well be charged with murder.
When confronted with that, he probably told something closer to the truth BUT his credibility is gone as the ‘Neighborhood’ will be convinced the POleece beat a change of story out of him.
Back when this ‘picking on minorities was getting a full head of steam’, as a Supervisor you could be talking to the laborers and every other word “F” or “MF” this or that (I am talking outside construction here, not indoor office) and if something came up and you said “Damn It! lets get back to work” the scene would quiet and you could hear the grumbling “GD MF, better watch who he is cussing out”. I never thought anything of it but it does seem to be even that long ago ‘they’ were on a ‘victims course’
Just like Sharpton and the Brawley story. When she changed her story and finally told the truth, Sharpton had the seed planted and sowed it for all it was worth and made a fortune out a not only a lie, but a fabricated story to boot.
I don’t know if that DA ever got paid off but we do know that Sharpton is basically untouchable....
When you get some guy on tape more or less hiring a ‘lynch’ mob to drive a storekeeper out of the neighborhood nothing comes of it EXCEPT another feather in Sharptons cap and a Job as a TV ‘expert??’ on Race Baiting????
With the circus the media made of this, he won’t be charged with this.
But later on after the hubbub has died down and the spotcams go away, he will go back to his true basic nature.

And he will be caught, hoping it stays quiet when that happens as another media circus won’t help.
He’ll get caught because he’ll be emboldened by getting away with attacking a cop, BS’ing on TV, and being a media darling.
Because he's gonna be the start witness for the United States Department of Just Us.

Dorian Johnson, the liar, said in his interview that Wilson backed his SUV up and hit them both with the door of it. I contend that the both of them hit Wilson and he tried to get out of the SUV.
Those two working in concert committing a crime that soon led to Brown’s death makes Dorian eligible to be charged for Murder 2nd Degree under Missouri statute.
I also think that this is why Johnson lawyered up so quick. He will provide testimony that will support Wilsons account in exchange for leniency. Of course, he will be viciously attacked on the stand if it ever goes that far, but I seriously doubt that it will get past the GJ.
Then the fun begins anew. The 2nd Battle of West Florissant is in the offing. At least my agency got new riot gear.

Seriously, there is a narrative divorced from reality that they are trying to create.
What just popped to mind: You know how in the muslim world absolutely everything is a cause and reason to riot, scream, destroy, rage and rampage and it is passed off as okay and acceptable by the media?
Are they trying to create that same narrative here?
