Convicted Eco-Terrorist Leads “Yellowstone Wolf Patrol” in Montana

Rod Coronado, a convicted eco-terrorist, is the leader of the controversial “Yellowstone Wolf Patrol,” a new environmental group that plans to shadow legal Montana wolf hunters during the state’s fall and winter wolf season and document the hunts with a video camera.

Coronado, a resident of Michigan, is a radical environmentalist who “sank whaling ships nearly 30 years ago in Iceland and later went to prison after torching a Michigan State University lab in 1992 for conducting research for the fur industry” according to The Buffalo News of Buffalo, NY. He also serves as a spokesman for the radical, militant environmental group Earth Liberation Front (ELF).

...

In 2006, Coronado was charged with distribution of information relating to explosives, destructive devices and weapons of mass destruction after a 2003 speech surfaced in which he was seen explaining how to make an incendiary device at an event on militant environmentalism in San Diego.

15 hours before Coronado’s talk, activists from ELF allegedly burned down a large apartment building that was under construction in the San Diego area, causing $50 million in damages.

...

When asked by 60 Minutes why ELF would burn down buildings, Coronado responded: “It’s simply because after years of rescuing animals from laboratories, it was heartbreaking to see those buildings and those cages refilled within the following days. And for that reason, arson has become a necessary tool.”

...

in 2004, Coronado was also arrested and convicted of interfering with a mountain lion hunt in Arizona. For that offense, he spent 8 months in prison. Earlier this year he discussed “hunt sabotage” in an interview with another militant environmentalist publication Earth First Journal.

I’ll bet the wolf hunters would welcome a counter stalking crew.

I’d actually like that better than hunting the wolf.

Does he realize he is also on the menu for wolves?
Him being taken by wolves would make him this decades winner of the Darwin Award.

Similar, but I’m suggesting adding a 3rd party crew to shut down the enviro-stalker.

Maybe he can be bait for the wolves.

Any leftovers would be taken care of by the bears, coyotes, and vultures.

1989, there was this animal rights activist on Larry King Live talking about following deer hunters and scaring away the deer. I was in Port Arthur, Texas at the time on a construction project. I thought, “OK, Genius. Come down to East Texas or Southwest Louisiana and do that. Go follow Thibodaux and Boudreaux on the deer lease. You might get the bonus of accompanying Fontenot on his gator hunt. Now what’s for gator bait?”

You never know who gets lost in the Big Thicket.

This happened to Mr. GG2 and some of his friends out west one year. The whackos wait in the parking areas and then try to follow and ruin your hunt by making noise to scare off any animals. I believe when they came back to the parking lot they found that mysteriously all of their tires were shot out and a few blown windshields. I don’t think there was a problem after that.

“... and document the hunts with a video camera.”

That video camera better have a good lense to identify a (the) shooter at 1000 yards.

“...uh...is he pointing his rifle at....*bang*”

Isn’t hunting wolves a part of The Circle Of Life? Does this jackass follow the wolves around and warn their prey that they are about to become a wolf snack?
This goes to prove that the reintroduction of wolves has one purpose. That purpose is to diminish the ungulate (deer, elk, moose) numbers to the point that man will not be able to hunt them. Then, it’s “What do you need those rifles for?” And then it’s permanent liberal rule over every aspect of your life.....and death.

“Interfere with a licensed hunter in the State of Alaska and you go to jail.”

Same with most, if not all, States. It is interfering with a State license.
