A 20 year old I know was recently diagnosed as schizophrenic here in Washington state, where recreational pot is legal. I was looking up info on the illness, and was surprised when I found the pot use-schizophrenia link in young users. It was on the NAMI website. I was disappointed that this info wasn’t shouted out when pot was on the ballot here. Oh, of course, you have to be 21.... Baloney. Choose between the drug war or teens and young adults developing schizophrenia? I don’t have to think about it after watching how this has devastated my friend’s family. Schizophrenia and other psychotic illnesses are nothing you would ever “choose” for anyone. Ever.

Chick non-think. SMFH
I knew kids who smoked pot when I was young (40 years ago). Some, it only caused to lose ambition. Most of these gave it up in short time. A few became psychotic. Maybe they were kind of on the edge, but it certainly pushed them over the edge.
Since well before any state had legalized pot, teens have reported that they could get it more easily than beer or cigarettes ... which is to be expected since legal sellers card and illegal sellers don't.
