I fail to see where an accident occurring has to do anything with politics or outreach of any sort. Accidents or their causes to this point hasn’t been discriminatory to a particular party or agenda. Each has pointed to a technical or mechanical fault of some sort. For folks to continue just blurring out Obama for everything under the sun then waste the time attempting to make those ties is a stretch.

Now that I may need to track back to however it was still a dozen or two too many. The point is we’ve lost lives and money over the years in our quest for space and accidents occur no matter the party. It’s ridiculous to attempt tying a President to any...Sh!t just happens

After reading all of that you decided to take the couple lines out of there? I’m guessing since at one time these were very secretive missions in our race for space you be hard pressed to find that data through just internet searches. Outside of this you fail to catch my point....this has nothing to do with politics..a party...a selection of people (even though a private company)...a president...nada nil zilch ...to keep pressing this as if it were political makes us look like butjobs.

Hundreds of test pilots and hundreds of missiles................ Those were your “facts”.

They escaped the rest of us as well.

Maybe they were all at Area 51.

In response to someone else that pointed this out will have to check numbers but the loss of the was nonetheless great in our venture to space. The whole point is this has absolutely squat to do with politics at all. We look ridiculous for even attempting to bring it into the discussion. Space exploration and accidents traverses every party and no political decisions led to this accident...nor the prior in the last 30 years

“I’m guessing since at one time these were very secretive missions in our race for space you be hard pressed to find that data through just internet searches”

So now you’re guessing that there were hundreds of test pilots killed and hundreds of rockets lost and that was all covered up by the tens of thousands of people who worked for NASA and that no one could see these hundreds of rockets blowing up from tens of miles away when they blew up, and that all of that was all kept secret for the last 60 years which is why it doesn’t show up in any history books or the internet?

Ok with you you’re lost on the point but you keep right on parroting this had anything to do with Obama or Muslims.....this is why conservatives have a hard time growing a base beyond a certain point because you’d have to have a nice tin foil hat to believe some (with strong emphasis) of the statements made

You don't see how moving your priority from technical competence to religious outreach could affect technical proficiency?

Seriously?

Maybe you have your replies mixed up.
I merely pointed out the outrageous “hundreds” claims you threw out. WTH is political about that?

By your now dodging and weaving you must be trying to shirk the responsibility of your rash claims.

how can you possibly make this claim when a private company was responsible for the launch? The logic you’re utilizing can therefore be applied to Regan when the shuttle blew up that it was his fault and for Bush II for the shuttle disintegration upon reentry. How about any flight tragedy for that matter? Airline crashes over the last 6 years? See where I’m going here? This has absolutely nothing to do with Obama his admin...political policy...political decisions. Are you seriously going to keep trumpeting this out there? Conservatives are critical thinkers and beyond this.

The only information I could find was 62 died in 52 in 36 weeks at Edwards in the race to test jet propulsion.

Earlier you implied some Muslim outreach had something to do with this and that is nonsensical...this is why I made the statement I did.

I’d also venture to say numerous pilots across the Soviet bloc died (venture to say twice the number of ours) in the same quest for space. You’ll probably never find those numbers as many records are still sealed and kept private during the Soviet communist reign. Information like this would be seen as an embarrassment

This quote/link is from a GAMING site????

It never says that HUNDREDS of Test Pilots died trying to break the sound barrier. It IMPLIES the 62 died “training to fly jets”, not as test pilots.

Time to man-up and retract the original exaggeration.
