The new senate needs to pull out the pile of unratified treaties and vote them down. True. Still, we voted down the UN Convention on Biodiversity and the courts still respect its tenets in American law, such as listing subspecies or "evolutionarily significant units."

The cops don’t view themselves as civilians. Just like the NSA views private contracts as better than the constitution

The problem is, that there are many in the electorate who love what he/they are doing.
Amazing.

Foreign troops would be happy to comply.

All of these climate and arms treaties are meant to effect one country, is the US. Only the US is stupid enough to think they mean something.

Unfortunately Obama uses EO’s to abide by these ungratified treaties, whether they are voted down or not

...they will NOT be using local law enforcement to take away Americans weapons.Likely foreign "peacekeepers", which can be called in in the case of armed conflict.

No law or treaty may trump the Constitution no matter how ill informed people are.
Any that does impede is considered null from inception.

Foreign troops coming to take my guns? I'll find it very difficult masking my glee.

Foreign troops = foreign enemy - I am oath bound to kill them and protect the US Constitution.
Let them come and I and others like me will shove their faces in the ground and make widows of their wives!
But then again, not even foreign troops would dare land here in the US and try such a stupid task. The world knows that the US Citizen is one that is heavily armed and prior experience either in local hunting or military or both - and they aren’t going to attempt it. There will be no Red Dawn here.

treaties are not law and any treaty that violates US law is null and void You can wave your hand all you want, but they will still be enforced by every level of government. BTW, the Supremacy Clause may not say what you think it does. The commas are a problem.

No law or treaty may trump the Constitution no matter how ill informed people are. Any that does impede is considered null from inception. Poppycock. We have treaties on the books now that are enforced that wildly exceed the scope of Constitutionally enumerated powers. That is why, for example, treaties are cited specifically as authority in USC Title XVI, Section 1531.

If true, and I’m not saying it isn’t, then this is a great wrong.
