Quite clearly he is only back out of expediency and life will soon go topsy turvy again.

And no, this is his mom’s house and I will make that clear as well, with no words.

When it’s over, it’s over and I’ve reached my point.

This is suppose to be a happy time, a joyous occassion and I am not interested in working to make it so, with someone who is terminal, in my opinion.

I told his mom he was going to get worse and each time he has.

My mom would have tossed any of us out for this, the first time and if we ever spoke to her in manner not befitting a Mom then a number 10 iron skillet would be ringing off the side of a head.

Saw the family off at the airport this morning to visit relatives.

Next, wash the cat and then dress puncture wounds on arms.

Tonight is dinner for one, followed by a spot of B & B and watching “The Outlaw Josie Wales.”

Your post touched me deeply this morning.

I do Christmas, my birthday, and all holidays alone and I do NOT like it. I’m always relieved when life starts getting back to normal after January 1. I’m still alone, but the aloneness isn’t so magnified like it is during the holiday season.

I'm so sorry for that. I pray that our Father will bring someone special into your life. Someone you had always dreamed if having but have lost hope the he would come into your life, and that you share holidays and all days together.

The best thing about Christmas to me is that it happened — that a Savior was born to reconcile the world to the Father. So as bad as the loneliness gets, I am always profoundly grateful that God’s plan of redemption was manifest when a tiny baby was born under the most unlikely of circumstances to save and deliver me and whoever calls on His Name.

There will be a time when I will never be lonely again.

Count on it.

My best cat ever was a calico. Assertive, but in a sweet way. She would move books or newspapers aside when we were reading so we could pay attention to HER.

That's the way my cat is--assertive in a sweet way, such as when she gets next to my face while I'm sleeping and purrs loudly when she wants a midnight snack.

This morning, she meowed at me whan I got up. I assume that means, "Merry Christmas." Right now, she's sitting on my knee.

You might benefit to learn that no you do not have to keep on hopping on top of his folly to keep correcting him when he lies or talks foolishness.

Because that is what this kind of situation turns out to be.

He is miserable inside, full of his fallen self, collapsed by Satan. Don’t be gratuitously cruel, but don’t try to keep on rescuing him with kindnesses either. That is a God sized task, not a Vendome sized task.
