Scandal: The former secretary of state's use of a personal account to exclusively conduct government business and to protect her political future in violation of the law ought to disqualify her from the presidency.
'Witch hunts" sometimes find a witch, and those who dismissed the establishment of the House Benghazi Select Committee, chaired by Rep. Trey Gowdy, R-S.C., as just another witch hunt are eating their words.
The existence of a personal account that Hillary Clinton used to conduct government business as secretary of state was discovered by the committee and reported by the New York Times.
Clinton's use of this personal account explains why investigations of the Benghazi terrorist attack — and her culpability in our diplomatic mission's vulnerability there, the failure to heed warnings and the cover-up afterward — failed to find much email evidence of her direct involvement.

“The Associated Press is reporting that Clinton not only use a private email account but her own private e-mail service. She set up a server in her home. According to the AP, “The computer server that transmitted and received Hillary Clinton’s emails - on a private account she used exclusively for official business when she was secretary of state - traced back to an Internet service registered to her family’s home in Chappaqua, New York, according to Internet records reviewed by The Associated Press.”

Well duh- if she was sending emails from that private account to other State Dept employees, that shouldn’t be too hard to find.

With out a doubt a breach of national security especially if sensitive government info was parked on that server

The Clinton’s mastered this email scam while Willie was POTUS. Recall the lawsuits when he left which demanded emails. This went on and on until everything was gone. I beliebe Judge Lambert was involved. Since then Lois Lerner and Ms. Jackson have been caught using private emails. It makes one wonder if anybody in following the official gov’t. protocol.

True enough but those are not the e-mails she would hiding. I'm certain that she was careful enough with those. It was the desire to hide much of her other communications that was the motivation. What's surprising is that she thought she could get away with it.

I was thinking more along the lines of sitting down in front of the server, logging in, and altering or deleting any inconvenient emails.
