I have to assume that you are a younger person. Those of us who remember the awful things that happened during the Selma marches (not just the first one) KNOW that it was a horror story. No not one was killed on that particular day but you have to be ignorant or forgetful to remember all who were killed by bigoted nasty individuals(democrats all)who had decided that some human beings aren’t human enough.

Without the Republican Party in 1866, 1868 and for the rest of forever there would never have been any Civil Rights act, Amendments to the Constitution, and definitely no black elected officials anywhere in the federal union.

Exactly. The media created the horror story and you agreed with them.
They know they’re lying, but for liberals, truth is whatever serves The Party and if you say something often enough it becomes true. So they’re just posting a truth higher than the facts.
I hate to remind people, but the organizers welcomed the violence, even as they preached non-violence.
