The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives is apologizing for a “publishing error” in its regulations that suggested the agency had already banned AR-15 “green tip” ammo well before officials publicly announced a proposal to outlaw the armor-piercing bullets last month. “ATF has not rescinded any armor piercing ammunition exemption, and the fact they are not listed in the 2014 online edition of the regulations was an error which has no legal impact,” the agency said in a statement. “ATF apologizes for any confusion caused by this publishing error.” In January, the ATF published an online regulations guide that

Yep. Seems to already have had it’s intended effect.
Some people used to say we have a “shadow government” and those people were called “kooks”.
We do have a “Shadow Government” and that is the “Beer-o-crap-cy” that is setup outside of the constitution that can impose various regulations and rules. They are eager to do the jobs that the american legislators are unwilling or unable to do and that is the job of placing a boot upon the throat of the people who “think” they are still being governed by their own consent when they are obviously not anymore.
Consent of the governed ended some time ago.

Truth is you only need it to punch a .223 through armor. You can always just use a.308 or better.
