Yes, until .308 gets banned with all the others.
That way, their full acronym would be accurate...
About $0.50 a round.
About $0.50 a round.

Just aim for the head or legs; head shot = dead, leg shot = dead in 8 minutes
Trust me, a 308 goes straight through a bear.
Took 3 shots to put it down, found one projectile (probably stopped after penetrating bone)slightly deformed stuck in the blubber and hide on opposite side of bear.
Today that number is even greater than a mere three percent. If I had to guess, I'd say that 10% or more would stand and fight, if that day ever comes.
Consider this: it's been estimated that no more than 1,500 'insurgents' were ever in country at any one time, during the fight in Iraq, yet that measly number tied up the whole U.S. military for a solid decade.
Ask yourself how long they'd be tied up trying to defeat 30 million 'insurgents'. On their own soil. Against their own brethren. Even worse, they only number about 1.5 million altogether.
Now, you tell me who you'd bet on in that fight.
To answer your question, the III% = 3% or the percentage of patriots that actually did the heavy lifting when it came to fighting the American Revolutionary War. More than 33% of the colonists actively supported the Crown. The other colonists did their best to be invisible during the fighting. There was a lot of passivity in the western colonies (”the frontier”) — until the British recruited Indian allies to raid against the settlers there. That was a major mistake, because these settlers quickly became radicalized by the British tactics and went to war with the British and their Indian allies. There was not a lot of love in these fights and becoming a prisoner of war was a very “iffy” proposition. A good example is the Battle of King’s Mountain. Thanks!
Mealy mouthed non committal weasel words.
How much can I say without really committing to any actions of substance??? (Typical congressman’s thought)
I concur brotherman!
