I don’t see the problem. In Obama’s morally inverted world, a deserter is most deserving of an honorable discharge. In fact, desertion is so great a service to America in Obama’s fundamentally transformed definition, Bergdahl should get the Congressional Medal of Honor!
No one there has ever served in the armed forces, so what the hell do they know????...........

The idiots at the NYT are truly stupid in that they can’t even comprehend the English language. The Army statement this afternoon was clear and consise. If convicted of either of the two counts he would receive a DIShonerable discharge, forfeit ALL pay and benefits and spend time in prison (first offense - five years; second offense - life).

I’ll probably get a visit from the FBI for saying this, so I won’t. But - to put it mildly - the NYT has been an enemy of America for a long time.
How stupid can you get? A soldier deserts for 5 years and they wonder if he’ll get an honorable discharge after conviction? He’ll be lucky to be thrown out with a DD, reduction in rank to E-1 and no jail time.
