A senior U.S. official told NBC News that the incident appears to be a "local criminal matter"; so far, no federal agencies, including the FBI, are involved in the investigation. Local criminal matter? They're talking about investigators or the perps? I don't think "local" criminals would be stupid enough to try that, frankly. Too many polar bears out there that wouldn't suspect a thing and not be able to shoot back in Md.

I will start the conspiracy theories:
1. They were dressed in Burkhas and we shouting islamic slogans.
2. The police planted the drugs in the car to show this was not terrorism.
3. Mitch Rapp was seen leaving the facility right afterwards, riding with a little guy on the back of two big dogs. (Yes, I know I have mixed my book stories.)
4. They were actually shot leaving the facility, after going in and stealing chemical weapons.
5. They were Edward Snowden “followers.” Kevin Bacon was seen showing up a few minutes late, and pounding his fist on the edge of a car.
6. It was the Amish. Again. (Those bastards.)

Yep. If I were a criminal, the first thing I would try to do on a caper is dress up as woman and try to bluff myself into a high security installation brimming with armed guards.

Let me get this right.
The NSA officer, a civilian, was armed and was able to shoot and kill one of the the invading non-terrorists.
Suppose this happened , not at the NSA entrance, but at the military entrance, would the military guard have had bullets in his weapon or are their weapons empty and just for show?
