The hullabaloo over false information being propagated about Indiana’s Religious Freedom and Restoration Act (RFRA) reveals a much more serious underlying problem in America.
Morality according to the 3 Percent (the gay community in America) is defined by imposing conformity, control, coercion, and oppression over those who disagree with their definition of equality, fairness, tolerance, or even love.
The 3 Percent’s “outrage” cannot be about equal rights, as same-sex couples already benefit from civil unions, domestic partnerships, marriage, adoption and fostering children, in addition to receiving health benefits and other legal rights.
Nor can it be about fairness. I recently learned that Barronelle Stuzman, the former owner of Arlene’s Flowers in Richland Washington, had befriended and served for nine years the same homosexual couple who put her out of business. Not once in the nine years that she knew them had she ever refused to sell them flowers. It was only until they asked her to violate her biblical beliefs that they vigilantly went to great lengths to destroy her livelihood—unless she converted to their belief system.
This convert or die scenario isn’t fair or legal, but it’s happening throughout the country — and the world — in different extremes.
Killing Christian’s businesses, ability to earn a living, and freedom to worship and love — is no different than communist oppression that dictates: conform, change, move, convert to a particular belief system, or be punished.

Not to defend queers in anyway, but, if after 9 years of serving this homosexual couple, wouldn’t it be somewhat natural for the homos to go to Arlene’s for the services they wanted for their marriage?
On the other hand, the queers should have respected her views and taken their business elsewhere.

Well-written and precisely to the point. It is important that we band together in the interest of freedom in general. This 3% needs promptly to be identified and “put out of business” as it were, for the simple reason their ideas are inimical to the Constitution. Let them live, but do not let them vote or hold public office unless or until the convert to the principles we all agree to live by.
It really is about respect in this case. Unfortunately gay “pride” took the higher hand in their heads, and off they went into the land of government-imposed opinions, beliefs, and practices.
Wild Guess: That might well have been Plan A, until one of them ventilated her perplexity and surprise to a movement gay who put her in touch with the Right People who knew how to administer a public beatdown .... er, "Teachable Moment".
Homosexual frothers have been threatening to "go back and affirmatively punish" anyone who had opposed them, for about 10 years now.
There can be no doubt now, that Movement Socialism/Liberalism is busting their move, to suppress completely American conservatism, received morality generally, and patriotism.

This essay by Bethany Blankley in The Washington Times may serve to identify LG groups activism and also suggests by citing this legal case something personal happened between these two named litigants that could have faded away.
But when the God denying democrat (in name only) party seized it and promoted this into a doctrine of “political correctness” to serve their polical purposes . It clearly demonstrates that it was usefull to use in subduing the thorn of religion particularly Christian and we are now under attack.

Excellent op-ed! One thing though, from what I’ve read and seen in interviews with Barronelle Stuzman of Arlene’s Flowers, the Gay friend and customer of 9 years did not start all the fuss. Is was others in the local Gay community that did. She then retired after a time because it was simply that time to retire. She is a grandmother and great grandmother.
If the 97% can put a few gay advocating corporations out of business, that will stop the open corporate support of this perversion. Angies List would be a good starter...

I was thinking about the 3% today. I asked, “What are they really doing?” Everything they are doing is a counterfeiting of the man-woman experience. It is like some who buy those $6000 Real Dolls. Is there real fulfillment with a Real Doll? It is counterfeit, just like those who want sexual reassignment surgery. All of it is an effort to reproduce the real thing. In fact it denies them the real deal at the heart of it all: the opportunity to reproduce and partner with another person of the opposite sex, the product of their natural life. This denial takes them out of the gene pool (unless they donate their gametes for in vitro fertilization), into an artificial life as artificial as the Real Doll.
One must ask, why would one choose to cut themselves off from the full experience of ones humanity and be left with an artificial substitute? Can this be the a path to fulfillment?
I think this all happens in the formative years among ones peers. In those years, ones peers give signals, based upon their perceptions of you, that determine the path you will take. Those signals tell a person’s sexual identity and, ones social environment conditions them to conform to these signals. Their reproductive fate is sealed. Because of this, I think they are resentful of the role they must play that makes them choose an artificial substitution for reality.
The Christian Church offers them the choice of another reality, that of the spiritual world. It is the world of Christ’s sacrifice and resurrection. It promises to give spiritual healing of their shattered sexual identity and puts them on the right path towards redemption. This spiritual world might seem like another artificial substitution for reality. To those without spiritual awakening, it does. It appears like one more dead end path in search of fulfillment. Yet, that spiritual world they have so much hate, is the world they should have so much love. It is the way and the truth that has lit the way for mankind.
IMHO, the problem is much broader and deeper. It’s a simple issue of volition and our nation is manifesting its sheep-like nature, unwilling to even consider its volitional choices, falling instead back upon their soulish habits which have run independently of God’s Plan.
I remarked to a colleague the other day about how foul a recent Californian regulation/law had become, which required the State to pay for transgender sex change operations of those who wanted them while in prison.
His response wasn’t that he considered the ‘transgender’ solution as a perversion of thinking, but rather he tended to be libertarian and that was why the State shouldn’t pay for it.
Most people who condone homosexuality, including many Christians, are themselves refusing to change their thinking on other issues mentioned in the 1Cor 6:9 passage.
1Cor6 is an outstanding chapter to read considering volition and its role in our judgment.
Those who condone or encourage homosexuality as normal, fall into the category of those not inheriting the Kingdom of God. They likely aren’t homosexuals themselves, but might be fornicators, or adulterers in their past thinking. They might also fall into the camp of Romans 1:12-37, where they have been turned over to a reprobate mind. Rather than judge themselves and change their personal immorality, they find it easier to decriminalize homosexuality, then advocate its acceptance.
While these things used to be obvious amongst believers, a very large percentage of believers today have very scarred souls they refuse to reconsider, and their volition is lazily exercised. The enemy is playing this weakness to advance our loss of liberty.
