FARMERSVILLE Theres a Buddhist meditation center on the outskirts of town, and a Mormon church recently opened along Audie Murphy Parkway.
But its the prospect of an Islamic cemetery that has upset some residents in this Collin County city with a population of fewer than 4,000. In shops along the brick-lined streets of the quaint downtown area, many wonder, Why Farmersville?
The concern for us is the radical element of Islam, David J. Meeks, pastor of Bethlehem Baptist Church, said of the Islamic Association of Collin Countys plan to build a cemetery west of the city.

This is so confusing. We have been told for years that Muslims prefer burial at sea.

There is a Muslim Cemetery in southern Harnett County, NC on Hwy 24/27.
Driven past it many a time. Fenced off with a standard chain link fence. Pretty simple wood sign says “Muslim Cemetery”.
Never seen anyone in it but see fresh dirt turned over every now and again.

The inhabitants of the cemetery are the only members of the ROP who are not a danger to anyone. You can always take your dogs for a walk there.

Make the cemetery open so pigs can graze on it...and a grease trap, so bacon grease can be dropped on it, too.
