I’m making a very bold prediction right here, right now- Donald Trump will drop out at some point and endorse / support Ted Cruz.
I think you’re right. One cannot keep going full steam ahead day in, day out for what? the next 18 months? No. As much as I like that Trump has forced many to face hard facts, we cannot forget he is but one 69 year old man. I don’t expect him to remain the Energizer Bunny forever.
This prediction is getting repeated so much that it is getting old. Kind of like those ones saying he’s not serious, he won’t file, he won’t report finances, etc. He may quit, just like any other candidate, but until then, what’s the point of dismissing him as a quiter?
I’d say the odds of that happening are four to one.

You have it backwards, Cruze will drop and support trump or be VP. I love Cruze but I don’t think he has enough name recognition to go far. The biggest enemy is the GOP and Cruze is too civil to defeat them and get the nomination.
I have a strong suspicion that Ted and Donald have already made a pact to run as Trump/Cruz 2016.
