A black woman found dead in a Texas jail days after she was arrested following a traffic stop will be buried on Saturday in a Chicago suburb as investigators gather more details about the circumstances of her incarceration and death.
The funeral for Sandra Bland, 28, will be held at DuPage African Methodist Episcopal Church in Lisle, Illinois, a Chicago suburb, followed by burial in a nearby cemetery.

Because his "game" was trolling on college cuties, I suspect.
Speculation....bland was neither collage...or cute...LOL
LOL! The scent of boot polish is strong with your opponent. :)
Maybe Officer P-P liked him some “brown sugar”. :)
Here the entire post in question since you are really slow on the uptake:
"She didnt call him anything until he ordered out of the car for refusing his REQUEST to put out her cigarette.
I would have said the same thing...I dont have to put my cigarette out,Im in my own car.
He was going to give her a warning until the moment she refused to put out her cigarette....so the reason he arrested her was?
Disrespect?"
Your reading comprehension is seriously lacking for being on an adult discussion forum.
He wasn't "in pursuit" at that point - unless Ms. Bland's Delorean had jumped ahead to the future, where she had failed to signal a lane change, AFTER stopping for the traffic light, with Officer Biff on her tail, and NOT in pursuit.
He may have been "in pursuit" of "other things", like shopping for brown sugar, but that's only speculation.
I'm not dim enough to get baited into a confrontation, like the cop did to Ms. Bland.
But I also recognize that I'm not a serf, and "uniforms" shouldn't be treating us as serfs and peasants.
Apparently, you fail to see that - on a Constitutional forum.
You’ve come undone.
Well in fairness...it hasnt reached the level of bootlicking where they have claimed a cigarette is a “dangerous weapon”...yet.
But.......”you DO have to put your cigarette out because I am getting ready to ask you to get out of your car for further evaluation and I don’t want you to put it out in my face.”
You implied that Officer P-P was "in pursuit". I mocked your incorrect observation with a Back To The Future popular culture reference, showing that there WAS NO "in pursuit".
Deal with it.
LOL....nice try....mind reading again...the officer never said any of that little fantasy line there.
He only ordered her out AFTER she refused to put it out.
Does linear time compute in your reality?
True.
Toespi danced right up to that line, though, with his post #131...
Linear time doesnt compute...pulling the cop off the road for violating DPS policy doesnt compute....even full agreement that Bland hung herself doesnt compute.
Blind support for anyone wearing a badge is all that computes.
Yes, and yes.
But .. I’m still not sure his approach warranted his actions. To me, it looked like he escalated the issue; however, if he was aware of how impaired she was, then maybe he was justified, because a breathalyzer would have been possibly nullified by the cigarette (if he thought she may have been drinking too).
"Another senseless smoking-related death."
"Better make it look like the girl did it."

I think you will find that this is pretty much a standard procedure when a LEO observes an escalating situation. I wasn’t mind reading, I was suggesting another point of reason. The mind readers here are the ones suggesting the trooper was trolling for college students and pulled her over because he wanted “brown sugar”.......her driving was erratic, her aggressive behavior was escalating, and she needed to be evaluated. As it turns out, she was under the influence of narcotics and the trooper did the right thing rather than turn her loose on the streets.
“if he thought”
More mind reading.....none of that transpired in the dash cam video....he had his head in her car BEFORE he went and wrote her a warning.
Why write her a warning for failure to signal “if he thought” she was high or drunk?
That just doesnt make any sence.
