What is his position on lowly county clerks that refuse to marry fags due to religious beliefs?

I don’t think he needs to weigh in on every issue - this will be handled through the courts and see how it plays out. Religious freedom is at stake here and this could be a good place to test the 1st Amendment. What he believes on this issue, or what others believe = shouldn’t be a deal breaker unless they - as Carly did - stomp on religious freedom. I haven’t heard what Cruz’s position is on this either.

Here’s mine.. if they took the job whether it is a public or private position and that is part of the job description or added to the job description, than they need to do it. It would be nice if the employer would make exceptions and help out the employee, but they don’t have to, but if they can’t so be it. If YOU own your business, all bets are off.

How would you feel if a Muslim chef at a restaurant refused to make a pork sandwich citing religious conviction, what would you say? NOW, if that Muslim owned the restaurant, he can forbid pork, that’s the way it works.
