Drudge: “I had a Supreme Court Justice say to me it’s over for me."

Circulating on the web tonight:

During an appearance on the Alex Jones Show, Drudge asserted that copyright laws which prevent websites from even linking to news stories were being advanced.

“I had a Supreme Court Justice tell me it’s over for me,” said Drudge. “They’ve got the votes now to enforce copyright law, you’re out of there. They’re going to make it so you can’t even use headlines.”

“To have a Supreme Court Justice say to me it’s over, they’ve got the votes, which means time is limited,” he added, noting that a day was coming when simply operating an independent website could be outlawed.

“That will end (it) for me – fine – I’ve had a hell of a run,” said Drudge, adding that web users were being pushed into the cyber “ghettos” of Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

“This is ghetto, this is corporate, they’re taking your energy and you’re getting nothing in return – nothing!”

This is frightening. . . They will turn the Internet into the home shopping network and nothing more.

Drudge has links to infowars on this.

Drudge warned that social media giants like Twitter and Facebook were swallowing up content and strangling the organic growth of independent Internet news platforms. Automated news aggregators like Google News also came under fire.

“Google News – hello anybody? The idiots reading that crap think there is actually a human there – there is no human there – you are being programmed to being automated even up to your news….a same corporate glaze over everything,” said Drudge.

“Stop operating in their playground, stop it,” said Drudge, asserting that people were being confined by what the likes of Facebook and Twitter defined as the Internet as a result of this “corporate makeover” of the web.

“I’m just warning this country that yes, don’t get into this false sense that you are an individual when you’re on Facebook, no you’re not, you’re a pawn in their scheme,” concluded Drudge.

> As long as Der Kommissar is in command, they’ll be protected. If Drudge can’t survive, I guess FR is going deep underground. Yay, net neutrality and giving control over to the Feds!

The real reason "net neutrality" was instituted in my opinion. They've just been setting the pins in place awhile now researching the best way to kill .and suppress right wing / conservative / Christian news ources online. They had made it more difficult to find images online a little while back unil so many people complained and called them out on the obvious techniques they were using to make it more difficult to find them. Their next move will be to try and kill first amendment rights to suppress right wing views online and control the flow of information censoring and filtering content so that the leftist views dominate over all yet they forget that people are not nearly so dumb to believe eveything that they hear and see that is distributed by the leftist MSM. We are seeing evil rise to new levels with the Allah lobing Satanist in the WH.

Moving servers offshore may not work. Just look at what happened to FreeDominion.ca! It’s server was moved offshore from Kanada, but still got shut down. Unfortunately, the same Stalinist ideas flow in all leftist’s minds.

I have a feeling all this won’t go as planned by the feds because of their own self-absorbed, “look at me” narcissist leftist pamsies who so desperately need attention online. They will turn on them and shriek like little sissy girls until they get their way. I can already hear Perez Hilton whining because he can’t deliver his online commentaries about news on other famous gay celebrities.

RE: “Drudge tends to be on the dramatic side.”

I can understand that being said in light of his previous doom tweets.
However, I don’t think many here would disagree that the the pace of tyranny is quickening.
Put Drudge’s claim aside.
Trending events from just the past year are alarming:

TPP secret restrictive international agreements governing copyright content and banning communicating gov’t criticism.

FCC Internet control and net neutrality carrier content restrictions

Google and Facebook’s announcement that they will be working toward an effort to determine news truth and search ranking placement

Sept 15 Executive Order creating an interagency Behavioral Analysis citizen database

NDAA permitting indefinite detention without due process of US citizens who are deemed “beligerent” toward gov’t.

Obola deriding citizens suspicious of his threatening Executive action against the 2nd Ammendment, as folks who believe he’ll invoke martial law, and not leave office at the end of his 2nd term.

Matt’s warning tonight is probably justified in light of the threats to liberty I listed, and others he knows are coming.

I hate Facebook.

The fact that Mark Zuckerburg is a left- wing political activist makes it even worse.

"I assume this would put google and yahoo out of business too?"

Big Media's business model has been imploding since the internet became ubiquitous in the USA. They will cheat, lie, steal and bribe all of congress and the SCOTUS to regain total control of all things media and the mindless iPhone gazing public won't even notice until it is all over.

Now what?

Move the servers to Canada? Read the UK papers?

Maybe the Brits will start Radio Free America.
