They are doing thi gs like “road diets” which takes existing paved roadways with 3 lanes and cutting it down to 1 lane plus a bus only lane and a bike lane thus making traffic so horrible that as the populations turns over people choose to live in the city instead of in a suburb a mere 15 miles away.

Cool. I’ve got a 94 jeep Cherokee and an 89 full size Bronco.
For the past 40 years here there have been wilderness study areas with severe road and use restrictions. This year Obama created three big new wilderness areas that didn’t include all the wilderness study areas. Naturally, the locals said ok, now get rid of those study areas since you have your wilderness. Oh no, that will take a long time to do, if we can do it at all.
The federal land grabbers too often close off public lands using scams like wilderness study areas * as if * Congress had acted.
Cool. I have a 2008 FJ cruiser. Gets me around northern Michigan and starts at -30 temps.
