On Monday, Russian President Vladimir Putin remarked that, instead of funding Syrian rebels, the U.S. should have just given the money to Russia. The U.S. halted its training program after many rebels defected and U.S. weapons landed in the hands of al-Qaeda.
“It would have been better to give us $500 million,” quipped Putin. “At least we would have used it more effectively from the point of view of fighting international terrorism.”
Al-Qaeda kidnapped or killed multiple “New Syrian Force” fighters, which left American weapons in their hands. The Pentagon also provided vehicles and ammunition to Nusra Front, a radical Islamic group linked to al-Qaeda, for safe passage, but officials quickly lost track of the items.
Putin said Russia’s campaign in Syria is more effective than the U.S.-led coalition. He insisted his government’s actions “are legal and reasonable because it followed a Syrian request for assistance.”

I agree with you on that point. I enjoy the fact that he is shaking it up on all sides which is long overdue. I like that he is calling them out on their BS for the world to see. I’m HOPING in all those years where he was speaking and donating liberally (although he gave to both sides) he was doing and saying those things that any large successful company does and says to succeed in the states and localities in which one operates. As he said before he played the business game to establish inroads with the political elites. That unfortunately is a component of business one must adhere to in order to succeed.
Something has to be done about this Mussolini of the new millennium. Maybe the next POTUS will put him back in his box.

Hey, we all miss the cold war. It was a huge national challenge. And then it went away.
They started enjoying shopping, driving cool cars, phones, mass communication, earning money, dressing well, and posting everything they do on social media. The criticize communism as a tragic mistake and started rebuilding churches the communists destroyed.
Our favorite enemies just went away.

He also good at killing his own people and anyone that speaks out or has a dissenting opinion(looks at the mountain of bodies). I hate Obama, and ISIS needs killing no doubt, but dont think for a minute if Vlad could get away with it that he would not destroy us completely.

As long as Putin bombs ISIS and slaps the snot out of Obama, I’m not about to criticize.
Heck, if Putin had nuked DC the night Obama lit up the White House in rainbow colors to celebrate America’s submission to homosex, I’d be cheering Putin even more.
He said it would make better sense than Obama did training and sending over all those munitions to those who are basically the enemy. Frankly, Putin is right, again. And Obama is wrong, again.
