OMG - that’s going to escalate conflict and loss of life hugely.
Middle east is on fire
uh-huh
I can’t keep the players straight, because MY LEADERS lie to me every day.
According to our POS President, should we AMERICANS like this or not?
*SPIT*
No confirmation in the Suadi, British, American, or Israeli news media. Looks like potential Iranian disinformation.
Who thought Saudi Arabia would have so much trouble defeating a little country. Looks like this is an Iran/Saudi Arabia proxy war. Let them kill each other off?
I have not found this elsewhere. Propaganda piece?
Interesting. Not necessarily believable but interesting.
oops.... the war is now on. There will be no mercy
"Airstrikes target launchers after missile struck close to Saudi airbase.... Saudi warplanes bombed targets in the Yemeni capital Sanaa on Thursday after Houthi rebels fired a Scud missile at an airbase across the border in a sudden escalation of a war that is taking a mounting toll on civilians..... Reports from Sanaa said airstrikes targeted missile launchers after a Scud impacted near Khamis Mushayt, close to a major Saudi air force base. "
Since there are no good guys in the Arab world, it takes a little convoluted thinking to figure winners and losers here. However after a long hard period of study and thought (10 seconds or less), I think I know.
Winner: Boeing.
Saudis are going to need at least 17 new F15s and 9 Apache helicopters.
Loser: American taxpayer. We will have to pay for those 17 new F15s and 9 Apache helicopters.
Any word of American killed/injured? The Saudis don’t wipe their butts without our military there. My unit in Desert Storm.
I smell BS
Jug Ears policy in action!
One scud? Was it armed with a nuke? Think not
I don’t believe you.
Call up Davis-Monthan and break out some more F-15’s, I hear the Saudis are in the market.
CC
This is probably BS but I’ll bet we end up the bad guys here:
The U.S. government should use its influence over the Saudi Arabia-led coalition that is bombing Yemen to protect civilians and promote a peaceful resolution to the conflict, a group of U.S. lawmakers say in a letter sent to President Barack Obama on Wednesday.
We write to express our dismay over recent reports that airstrikes conducted by the Saudi Arabia-led coalition struck yet another wedding reception, wrote the lawmakers, who all hail from the presidents own Democratic Party.
IF true...that’s some mighty fine shootin’ with a Scud.
Same incident reported from an Israeli source:

I found this part interesting:
Scuds have been launched at Saudi Arabia from Yemen several times during the nearly seven-month-old war, but have been shot down at least twice by Patriot missiles supplied by the United States.

Good, they’ll have to buy another 20 or so F-15s. That will help the trade deficit.
