Ring Avulsion. Happened to a friend who jumped to get something from a high shelf while working for Grumman. Ring caught on something on the top shelf and POP. Not .able to re-attach due to severe damage.
Happened to Jimmy Fallon recently. He was lucky....it never completely severed but was pretty badly damaged.

He’s one of those muslims, that try to sell a story attempting to weave Jesus into their beliefs. There’s no evidence that Barry is a believer. I don’t think it will be within a year that obama acknowledges his true beliefs. The attention starved narcissist will do it about 12-18 months after he leaves office in hopes of a lead news story about himself.

That ring is some piece of Indonesian jewelry with Arabic writing on it though.

In the article there is a picture of Obama with his grandparents. I always hate seeing it, it’s such an obvious photoshop. Whoever created it was a complete idiot, but the Obama campaign still decided to use it. I have no idea why they created it.

To see how fake it is, simply try to recreate Obama’s grandfathers left arm and hand. His upper left arm you can see is positioned in a downward position, and the hand is about level with his shoulder – above Obama’s left shoulder. This is not possible. Try it, it’s simply not possible. The only way for the grandfathers hand to be where it is, is for his upper arm to be nearly straight out – but it’s not. With the upper arm in the position it is in, it would be possible for his hand to be in a lower position – like on the grandmothers shoulder. Try it.

It seems fairly obvious that the hand was on the grandmothers shoulder, and it was removed, Obama was photoshoped in, and the hand was placed over his shoulder. Maybe Obama was the one to take the picture. But why in the heck would they photoshop Obama into the picture? And all they needed to do was leave the hand out, and noone would have been the wiser.

I believe that we are sometimes "given" things for whatever reason. Many years ago I had a dream I was at some large arena for some sporting event and as we were going through the entrance, the walls started tumbling. In my dream I said "The world is seriously coming down." Within a day or two the earthquake hit that halted the World Series. Fluke, maybe, but creepy nonetheless.

In my case my wedding band had to be cut off after I broke that finger and some bones in my hand while playing rugby.
I got it repaired but it never fit right again. Also my finger & hand shape and size were permanently but not noticeably changed (meaning you can measure it, it’s just not obvious!), though functionally fine. Since that was 25 years ago I do now have a growing arthritis problem with that hand. The ring sits in a drawer with other jewelry.

Same here. Been married for almost 30 years. I took my ring off while I was flying in the military, and wore it with my dog tags. I saw one guy lose a finger on the flight line after it got caught on his wedding ring. They were unable to successfully reattach due to the tissue and nerve damage. I lost my original wedding ring years ago with my dog tags. I wore a replacement until I caught my replacement ring moving something down from the attic. Almost ripped my finger right off.

Same situation here. My Uncle touched his to a tractor while welding out in a rice field and permanently disfigured his finger. I shortly thereafter caught mine on a ladder while climbing off a roof , and I took mine off , never to wear any jewelry of any kind again in my trade. Mine resides in my wife's (of 35 years)overloaded jewelry box.

I cut my wife's wedding band of her hand with a pair of diagonal cutters when she swoll up while pregnant with with our first child. She wanted me to take her to the emergency room. NONSENSE I sez. I was in a hurry to go fishing and we tried grease then soap. Nothing. Stuck. I took care of it and the jeweler gold-soldered it back together. Caught a load of flounder that day too.
