Why do Jews have to support Israel when we get all huffy about Mexicans supporting and sending money to Mexico or any other immigrant (I know most do this) who sends money “home” and doesn’t assimilate?
For that matter, many more Mexican Americans vote Republican than Jewish Americans (percent and absolute numbers).
Because Israel is under existential threat.
It doesn’t get any more serious than that.
