Former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton brushed aside emails Thursday that showed she privately told family and world leaders that the 2012 attack on the U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi was a terrorist assault, and said Ambassador Christopher Stevens was responsible for his own decisions regarding skimpy security ahead of his death.
Testifying to the House Select Committee on Benghazi, a composed and controlled Mrs. Clinton said she was involved in the big decisions of deploying Stevens to Libya and pressing President Obama to lead the war effort that ousted Moammar Gadhafi. But she deflected responsibility for much of what went wrong, saying the ambassador’s requests for more protection, which were denied, were handled at levels beneath her.
Mrs. Clinton also revealed that she gave orders for her lawyer and aides to go through her emails, but she did not “look over their shoulder” and didn’t know exactly how they decided which emails were work-related business. And she declined to agree to release any emails recovered from her server.
In a hearing that lasted more than eight hours, Mrs. Clinton escaped without the kind of major gaffe that plagued her 2013 appearance before the Senate.
But she seemed unsure of whether she spoke with Stevens in the months between swearing him in as ambassador and the attack, in which he died of smoke inhalation.
And she stumbled over her relationship with family confidant Sidney Blumenthal, who repeatedly sent her messages about Benghazi at her special email account, and she struggled to explain her department’s public stance blaming the anti-Islam video with what her own staffers — and she herself — were saying in the immediate aftermath of the attack,....

I think so. I think Obama and Hillary are both responsible and they were up to no good and that is why they wanted to keep everything top secret around the Benghazi compound. First they start a war against Khadafi who had been stable for many years, then Obama wants to start a war with Assad. It is like he had a wish list—first take out Mubarrak, then Khadafi, then Assad, all within just a few years, but look the other way when the people of Iran were trying to throw out their mullah dictators.
Obama certainly had big plans, of course he isn’t telling us what they were.

From what I saw when I was watching the hearing off and on was she did not do her JOB.
Apparently, she thinks her job is to travel, stuff her face, drink like she’s at a frat party and arrange hits.
Hopefully she won’t be elected and maybe we can be shed of that succubus they call Secretary.
Ambassador Stevens sent 2 requests per day for over 8 months to this treasonous bitch, and she blames him for not “doing something”.
By the way, she is LYING when she claims she read none of those messages.

She stammered a bit when admitting her employee, Amb Stevens, had no way of reaching her.....realizing she was caught in a huge lie. She had earlier characterized Amb Stevens as "someone she knew and respected," relating personal anecdotes that suggested "a close relationship" and that "she had personally asked him to take the job."

Significantly, longtime Clinton errand boy, Sidney Blumenthal, was in constant contact w/ her — as Blumenthal pushed for all-out war in Libya to topple Khadafi. The "new" Libyan govt was Blumenthal's pathway to profit.
Americans were not told Blumenthal was the hired hand of businesses w/ Libyan interests. With the buck-raking Clintons getting a cut.
The double-dealing Clinton Foundation had hyped Blumenthal as their $325, 000 hire "to advance Bill Clinton's presidential legacy."

I just want ONE question answered. WHY did they immediately come up with that video story and spread it so fast and, ahem, furiously? They could have just said they messed up, miscalculated security needs... Why was there a desperate need to come up immediately with the video story?
One reason may have been the election. And indeed, being attacked and losing Americans in a new terrorist attack might have cost him the election. If that had been the story.
But was there more than that? What else was going on? I wish SOMEONE would have dared ask her, “Why did the admin feel the need to lie to the American people about the cause of the attack? And dear Gd, why did you personally lie to the mothers as their sons were returned to them in pine boxes?
