Stick a fork in Trump. He’s done and he has no one to blame but his big fat mouth. Comparing Ben Carson to a pedophile????

With his latest antics, Trump strikes me as a bit unhinged.

OK, what record of Westmoreland’s whereabouts was there during that time?

"Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson’s published account of having dinner with a top commander in the Vietnam War after marching in a Memorial Day parade in 1969 as a high school ROTC cadet in Detroit does not match historical records.

"In Carson’s 1990 best-selling autobiography, “Gifted Hands: The Ben Carson Story,” the neurosurgeon tells of being offered a scholarship to West Point as a high school senior sometime after having dinner with the U.S. Army’s chief of staff, Gen. William Westmoreland, on Memorial Day 1969.

"But Westmoreland’s personal schedule shows the general was not in Detroit on Memorial Day or during the days preceding and following the holiday. His schedule says he was in and around Washington, D.C., that weekend, according to Army archives The Detroit News reviewed Friday."

Pray for him? That is the best he can do? I’ve had CNN on this morning, since 4 a.m. and, seriously, all they’ve talked about is Trump and his speech. As much as they are having a collective meltdown, they do keep saying that Carson needs to answer questions. Then back to their meltdown. Almost fun to watch.

I agree. For all the Trumpettes here, I was willing to look past Trump’s very shaky political past for someone who would stand up for what is right.

He has made it clear that personal “winning” takes priority over any sense of right and wrong or America winning.

I was hoping for a Trump/Cruz ticket. Now I’d rather see Cruz/Carson, Cruz/Paul, Cruz/Fiorina, Cruz anybody but Trump. I’d even take Jeb over Trump now.

he fights hard and dirty and he wants to win, win, win.

What a guy.

Here in FR we once called Trump's antics "character assassination."

“Well, this response of Carson shows that he’s getting the better of Trump in this exchange.”

Only to naive people on FR that love that wussy type of response because it has some “Christian” turn the other cheek nonsense in it.

Thats probably what Obama said when
Ben Carson called him a psychopath.

“His comment came in an exchange between the neurosurgeon who’s likely to mount a bid for the 2016 Republican presidential nomination and his chief adviser, Armstrong Williams, captured by a GQ reporter on the night of this year’s State of the Union address.

Williams had said Obama looked “elegant” that night.

And Carson responded: “Like most psychopaths. That’s why they’re successful. That’s the way they look. They all look great.”

Um...Trump didn’t compare Ben Carson to a paedophile.

He pointed out that pathological conditions (which Carson described himself as having) don’t just go away, they stick with you.

By quoting Carson's own words?

Except that he didn't stop there, did he. He likened Carson to a child molester and also denied that God is miraculous and can change people.

I’ve always admired Dr. Carson for his life of accomplishment.

But as the campaign has unfolded, there is something about him that tells me he’s “off” a bit — not crazy, of course — but not entirely genuine.

And his positions on the issues would doom any other GOP candidate without his background.

In the Tao te Ching it says:

The sage does not fear an attack from the tiger because there is nowhere for the tiger to attack.

An honest man does not need to fear an attack from the unrighteous.

Also; "pray for him", too delicious.

Trump is an entirely different egg, whom we’ve never seen in this country. He knows people and has a visceral response to their personalities and behaviors, in short he’s made his living at sizing up his competition.

We’re not use to that kind of frankness or rudeness. Like Bill O’Reilly, he has a tremendous ego that when attacked he takes the attack personally. BOR is most thin skinned person on TV and Radio today. He will accept no insult from anyone without lashing back.

Trump is different, as he can size up a person in a couple words. Most politicians would shut up than respond to Carson, but Trump can’t. I think he senses that Carson is a phony and not fit to be president or better than him.

I wish he would not be so personal, but obviously Trump is an aggressive leader and will be as president.

“With his latest antics, Trump strikes me as a bit unhinged.”

Unhinged?

What about Carson calling for amnesty for illegal aliens?

What about Carson supporting TPP, which ends American sovereignty?

What about Carson wanting to start shooting down Russian jets over Syria, forcing a world war? That used to be called madness.

“In Trump’s worldview, there seems to be no room for spiritual redemption of any kind.”

Spiritual redemption is possible but not, I believe, for problems caused by defects in the physical body which includes the mind. Some serious mental diseases can be at least controlled by drugs, but cannot be controlled by the patient having his bad ideas un-learned and new ideas learned.

Carson supports citizenship for illegals and backs the TPP.

I don’t Americans need such a man telling them who to pray for.

Trump likened part of Carson's past to that of a child molester. You're really OK with that?

When he attacks. He attacks them at their weak spot. They then have to either defend their weakness (making them look worse) or retreat.

Happened with Jeb and the 9-11 comments. Oh how did the Trump-bashers think THAT was going to be the end of him......until Jeb ended up sulking away because being tied to W is the LAST thing he wanted.

Carson will either have to stayed tied to these bizarre stories of his or retreat.

In a president Trump we know what we are getting. The clobbering he is giving his enemies on the campaign trail, he will give just as hard and even harder when negotiating for the country.
