Rand Paul unleashes on the White House after it dubbed Trump 'disqualified'

Kentucky Sen. Rand Paul unleashed on the White House Wednesday after press secretary Josh Earnest suggested Republican front-runner Donald Trump disqualified himself from the 2016 horse race for suggesting the U.S. should temporarily block Muslims from entry.

CLIP

Today I would like to put a mirror in front of the Obama White House and show them the top ten things that make HIM unqualified: Dr. Rand Paul (@RandPaul) December 9, 2015

Here are the 10 reasons the Kentucky senator and White House hopeful cited:

1. "Tried to take over 1/6 of the economy in Obamacare, wrecked the system and hurt patients and taxpayers."

2. "Thinks an executive order is legislation and how you make law."

3. "Fought an undeclared, unconstitutional war in Libya, turned it into Jihadist wonderland."

4. "Fighting an undeclared, unconstitutional war in Syria, [and] trying to put ISIS in Damascus."

5. "Signed into law the indefinite detention of American citizens." (Paul is referring to the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) signed by Obama in 2011, which earned heavy criticism from groups like the American Civil Liberties Union).

6. "His copy of the bill of rights obviously goes from 1 to 3, skipping the 2nd amendment."

7. [A federal appeals] Court ruled his NSA spying on every American was illegal."

8. "He has added more debt than anyone in history."

9. "Appointed an attorney general who thinks speech against Muslims is a bigger threat than terrorism."

10. "[Environmental Protection Agency] rules by executive FIAT trying to kill an entire American industry and way of life (coal)."

the current CasaBlanca calling ANYBODY ‘unqualified’ to be President..... is .... well, hilariously ironic... to say the least

For starters,
Donald Trump was born in New York
his Daddy was born in New York
his Mommy was born in New York

as long as we can agree (and it is not always easy) that New York is part of the United States,

Donald Trump is qualified to be president... in that he is an American Citizen..... AND a Natural Born Citizen, too...(born in USA to parents who were American citizens so there’s no question at all).....
(and he’s over 35 years of age, the other qualification for the office).

—— now then, the current Occupant of our CasaBlanca, on the other hand........???!

Do not forget - Used the IRS to illegally steal the last election. He really is ruling by coup right now.

Well done Rand!

Brilliant move by Sen Paul comparing Dear Leaders “disqualifications” to the very qualified Mr. Trump, on the same day that the usually brilliant Sen Cruz made a purely political statement about his gaining the support of Trump and Carson followers as “gravity” drops those two in the polls.

Maybe Ron’s son has decided to jockey for Veep? Or has recognized the fool hardiness of bashing Trump.

Yup. I wish he'd come out with stuff like this earlier in the race. He is exactly spot on with this attack against Obama. Whoever the GOP candidate is, he'd be well advised to use them talking points. They'd be very effective.

I agree. But I'm glad he's standing up to this evil White House, rather than running down the leading Republican opponent(s). The others need to learn from this, rather than trying to pile on Trump, and sometimes Cruz, in the nastiest ways (are you listening, Linda Graham?)

And any Republican who's too fearful of the Republican base to admit it has no business serving as president either

Dear Abby, Dear Abby, My genius is great, I've convinced most of the people they're here for the State, There is just one problem and it's those who can't see their life is much better when they're no longer free...

Rand's early mistake was playing nice with Mitch McConnell. Thinking the elitists would work with him to change things was either delusional or naïve. As a result, he often seemed insincere about his desire to make necessary changes in DC.

Another is the 100 ton gorilla in the room that NO ONE is addressing. Rand Paul should've owned the issue I'm referring to by heredity...it should be in his DNA. That would be being against the Federal Reserve and all the damage it has done to the US economy.

He has a huge opening now. Talk about this issue. Connect his desire to protect our privacy with the extreme urgency of keeping terrorist and terrorist wannabees out of the US. Start saying things like "we can't have the freedoms we love if the US allows people who don't share our values to be here".

That's my take on things, anyway. I wonder if Rand Paul on the Trump team would bring in those young and/or unaffiliated voters wouldn't be a real viable connection.

Just my personal thoughts.

A couple days ago, on his program Chris Plante was reading a two-way communication from social media. Democrats actually believe Obama has the authority to decree that a candidate is disqualified. I don’t have the verbatim transcript but it was something like...

Dem: Why is Trump still making appearances and campaigning since he’s been disqualified?

Other guy: Disqualified? He hasn’t been disqualified.

Dem: The White House disqualified him. The Press Secretary said so.

Other guy: The President (White House) can’t disqualify any candidate.

Dem: I’m pretty sure he can.

... some back-and-forth about reality (which the dem never grasped) ...

Dem: Do I have to block (unfriend?) you, Dumbass?

Other guy: That would be OK.

The stupidity of liberals is stunning.
