Trump will never get to the general election, unless he goes Dem.

The big thing that seems to be forgotten is that we’re 2 months out from when the voting begins in Iowa. The other thing that keeps getting buried when talking about Iowa and New Hampshire is that there are mountains of votes left in far larger states and that, when put in perspective, Iowa and New Hampshire can be trimmed down to actual size. It doesn’t happen often, but it does happen.

I think Reagan did it, iirc. I’d have to check on that.

I can see it, but it seems so odd to think of any republican winning New York.

But it sure would change the calculus. If NY went republican, the race would be over. For one thing, the panhandle of Florida would see it announced before their own voting was completed.

Yes, and I love every minute of it.

I will be happy with either Trump or Cruz or both on the same ticket.

NO establishment RINOS and pathetic Bush spending like he’s the billionaire in this race ... LOL.

That was back when the Clintons were in their prime. And they knew she was a carpetbagger but voted for her anyway.

She’s not worn well nor aged well.

OK. People have figured out that Cruz is the best choice to beat Hillary and be President.

You better tell all the voters in NH, SC, NC, FL, OK, AL, GA, NJ, MA, MO, VA, OH, AZ, TN, PA, WV, KY, KS, IN, and more because Trump is winning in all of these states.

You've got a very daunting task.

.

Thing that bothers me about Cruz is he seems afraid to take on Trump.

Ted Cruz isn't afraid of taking on Donald Trump ...

Ted Cruz just refuses to engage in the NBC-desired 2012-Conservative Circular Firing Squad that would nominate (not elect) Yeb Bush ...

It's three-dimensional political chess ...

That is what the Left is hoping for.

Joe Scarbrough, outted himself on Hugh Hewitts program and said, I can not believe I am about to say this, but if Trump wins the nomination, Hillary will lose.

They are terrified of Trump winning the nomination because he will beat Hillary in a landslide. Even closet Hillary supporter Joe S. knows that Trump will easily beat Hillary in the general. Listen to the audio, Joe was downcast because he knows Trump would win against Hillary.

The Left i.e. Media does not want a one on one debate between Hillary and Donald. While it would likely garner ratings similar to the Super Bowl, the left including Podesta is doing everything in their power to prevent Trump from wining the nomination.

Trump would destroy Hillary in a debate and she would likely lose it on live tv. However she would have the script ahead of time and the moderators would do everything in their power to script a debate against Trump.

Must watch TV.

You agree with Podesta.

‘The crux of that argument is not that the other candidates are afraid to criticize Trump, Podesta told the donors: it’s that they agree with him.

But it landed amid the race’s most controversial week yet, when the Democratic frontrunner’s strategy for dealing with Trump took on added urgency.

And it came while the team is hurtling toward the end of the fundraising quarter and its goal of raising $100 million for the primary before 2016 — while donors are increasingly curious about the Brooklyn-based campaign’s tactics.
Clinton aides like campaign manager Robby Mook, policy staffer Jake Sullivan, and surrogate outreach aide Michelle Kwan — the former figure skater — have all headlined recent fundraising events, as has former President Bill Clinton.

And top surrogates have also stepped up their own presence on the money trail: longtime Clinton friend and strategist James Carville has become an active campaign fundraiser, while New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand is set to host an event in London on Dec. 29.

Even Podesta has been raising money in increasingly unexpected ways this month: the campaign has recently advertised to donors the chance to join him at a cooking event with Sarah Schafer, the executive chef of Irving Street Kitchen in Portland, Oregon, last Wednesday night, and at another similar confab with Marcus Samuelsson, the chef and owner of Harlem restaurant Red Rooster, in Brooklyn on Monday.’

They are worried. They know they cannot win against Donald Trump.
