Interesting that Trump rants and raves about a "fair" playing field when in fact, (and one he boasts about), he created an 'unfair' field by his substantial wealth from the get go. ....Other candidates don't have that wealth to sustain a campaign.....so Trump himself has no place to complain about fair play....

All candidates rely on wealthy donors to fund their campaigns to purchase TV and media time they need....regardless of the source...many private wealthy donors also contribute and considerably more than Wall Street.

While Trump has his own substantial wealth to run his campaign , and a full court of Attorneys to advise him. Other Candidates do not have that type of wealth to invest in their campaigns so have no choice but to accept large donors,.... which level's the playing field......to be "fair".

Most of Trump’s supporters on FR are nothing like the dregs on this thread.

The message presented in this thread has caused them to sever what small bit of contact with reality they might have had.

I have great concern for the people that are unfortunate enough to have to live near them.

Putting the wrong bumper sticker on their car may cause mayhem.

Congrats but remember the last time, Santorum won Iowa.

Not nearly so much as he would like to think he has.

He places the value of his name at 6 billion. (see Forbes site)

The people of Santorum’s home state didn’t vote for him.

He is practically the diametric opposite of Cruz.

I’ve been here for seventeen years. Folks know that I support the most Conservative folks I can unless their’s extenuating circumstances.

I have never advocated for the Clintons, Obama, Johnson, McGovern, Carter, or Obama, and yet you slander me by saying I’ll support Bernie Sanders.

You’re nucking futz.

When you turn yout deluded, demented Antichrist focus on a Godly man you invite repayment.

Ironically you think Cruz is going to hell too, since he eats bacon:

"No dietary law has been obliterated, nor the prophetic feast days that are at this point half way through their fulfillment.

Until all things be fulfilled, approximately 1000 years from now, we can be sure that his promise will remain solid.

If you believe him not, you have no claim on the benefits of belief. But that easy, empty grace is going to do it for you, huh?"

I don't think your non-Trinitarian cult "god" is going to judge me for bashing Ted Cruz. The real God probably doesn't have a problem with me citing Cruz's immigration infidelities/deceptions and weirdo Dominionism!

Well he does tend to exaggerate most every thing....so that would not be a surprise...... But he did admit 'his wealth' gave him the advantage on the playing field.....which made the playing field "unfair" right out of the gate...

I agree with you.

I like Trump a lot. We cannot overestimate what he has done to wake up people, take down the media and change this whole campaign.

I would walk over rose petals to vote for him with happy feet.

I was a victim of a bit of brutality during the last primary and it resulted in my staying dormant for a few years. I missed it here and I’m back to stay but I’d hate to see that happen again.

However, prickly and over-zealous Trump people can be nasty and sarcastic about Cruz, which I don’t like and see no reason for.

No kidding, but then having 40 million dollars from corporate donors and big banks to burn, which isn't even your own money, is nice too, but it comes at the price of your soul.

This is the Des Moines Register retaliating for what Trump said to the crowd in Des Moines about the Register being a terrible, horrible newspaper.

He scalded their ass for a minute or so about being dishonest, etc

Thia is there way of trying to get back at him by actually living up to what he said about them.

Trump was right. They are dishonest.

Trump goes up in all other polls after his Muslims comments, but goes down in this one. Don’t believe it.

Big money donations come at the price of your soul?

As if there isn't "good" big money that doesn't compromise your soul.

As if all people who donate big sums of money are donating for bad reasons.

FiveThirtyEight.com has all the reputable polling firms in the country listed, and rates them for accuracy. Des Moines Register/Bloomberg poll is not shown in 538 as a polling firm. CNN/ORC, which came out on 7 Dec, has Trump leading Cruz 33% to 20%. The CNN/ORC poll has a rating of A-.
