The women cannot prove their accusations. Bill Cosby can prove that there is no physical evidence that he committed sexual assault. I think he’s got the women dead in his sights and in an unbiased court of law will be destroyed by Cosby.

A dangerous precedent has been set.
ANYBODY can now point a finger at YOU and claim you did thus-and-such to them 40 years ago, without a shred of evidence. And dozens of other extortionists can jump on the bandwagon.
You will now be bankrupted attempting to prove your innocence.

I am not a lawyer, but what I understand is that if someone sues you, and you counter-sue, then they cannot just drop their suit and walk away. They need your permission to drop everything.

It is a way to make the accusers spend a lot of money over a long period of time and seek a settlement.

I don't know ... but a few dozen women waiting three to four decades to come forward with assault charges which coincidentally immediately followed Cosby's encouragement to the black community to be responsible and independent members of society (you know ... not democrats), was a little suspicious to me.
