Good point, and I’d love to see it happen. But so-called conservative Republicans had windows of opportunity in the past and failed to do so.

I’d just as soon give Cruz a shot at it.

The way they see it he could do all kinds of damage to the "progress" they have made with Obama.
Ted Cruz is the only candidate that has a mission in mind for his first term as President to repudiate completely the extra-Constitutional lawlessness of Obama. His goal is to wipe away every vestige of the Obama years, both by reducing the size and scope of government and reclaiming our fundamental rights abused by a federal government grown out of control. That's just the starting point for his second term.

Cruz has arguably the best plan ever devised to accomplish all this, the U.S. Constitution. Ronald Reagan said, "There are no easy answers, but there are simple answers. We must have the courage to do what we know is morally right." Simply reclaim the U.S. Constitution in full and the progressives will not even recognize this country in eight years.

Ted Cruz is brilliant. But if her were the President, the GOP establishment would never fight to implement his agenda. The RATS would block ANYTHING he would try to do. RATS would wage all out war on Cruz and the RINOs would let him get destroyed.

Trump won’t allow that to happen. What the RATS take from the debates is this: Trump will get in your face and mock you, trash you, dump on you, and lick you off the stage. Trump grew up as a RAT in Queens. He knows how to exterminate vermin. He knows their haunts and habits. He knows how to win. That scares the daylights out of the RATS-— AND the GOPe!

The biggest tax in his plan is a 16 percent value added tax. Mr. Cruz describes this tax as a business flat tax, but it’s not a tax on business profits. Businesses would pay the tax on their total sales, minus the cost of the things they bought to produce the thing they sold. They would not be able to deduct wages, meaning they would pay the 16 percent tax on an amount far greater than their profits. The conservative Tax Foundation estimates this tax would generate $25 trillion in revenue over a decade, making it about six times bigger than the existing corporate income tax, which Mr. Cruz would repeal, and more than twice as big as his proposed personal income tax.

I did read this wrong then. What they are calling expenses are really just costs of goods. Thanks for the info.
